Well what can I say my food was lovely red hot loads to choose from on the carvery very very good value. The girls were lovely couldn't do enough for us. Booked again for Monday. Thanks for lovely meal wishing you all a happy new yr in advance 🙂

We absolutely love it at The New Wellington, the carvery is amazing and always cooked to perfection plus really good value. We have visited quite a few times now since moving to the area and always get a friendly welcome and top service. We 100% recommend to all and will be back soon, many thanks.👍👍Jayne & Sean.

Friendly staff, good pub food at reasonable prices, family type pub, car parking available, outside seating, so suitable for dogs. Busy from 5.30pm till around 7.30pm. Well worth a visit.

We have been quite a few times, always been fine as a buffet goes, but didnt enjoy last visit the lady behind the bar was lovely as usual but when we got our breakfast the toast was very hard as you can expect under the lamp so my husband as the waitress if we could get some fresh toast she replied is there none there my husband said yes but its very hard her reply was ive just filled it up and walked off saying under her breath i cant just keep bringing fresh so we sat down and the chef came up to check the food and changed nearly 75% of food and put fresh the waitress didnt need to be rude we well try again but wont return if we have a rude experience again

Excellent carvery, Excellent service, excellent friendly staff, food excellent , the most gluton free desserts on a menu I have ever seen and really yummy 😋

It's OK to go to every once in a while for a Sunday dinner if you're able to book. The plates are a little on the small side and a lot of things are covered in cheese with no alternative sometimes.As per my recent visit a lot of the food and plates were cold. Upon telling the staff they are aware of the issue but when serving food this should probably be maintained more often to avoid vegetables sitting in a puddle of cold water.

Very nice carvery. Would have liked it a bit warmer. But best carvery for the price. Very nice interior bright and clean.

Arrived on a whim, Staff pleasant and accommodating. The array of vegetable choices on offer was astonishing.. Meat was perfectly cooked a little thickly sliced but beautiful all the same.. all I can say... if this is how they usually cut their meat maybe change to serated knives. What a perfect dinner... definately will return. (Yes I do like apple sauce.. lol).

Since lockdown the prices have jumped up. And for all frozen veg is not value for money anymore. The roast potatoes were particularly awful. It's now 6 pounds for breakfast. I was a regular. I won't be going back anymore
