The Pantry in Forest Heath

This place was amazing! The staff was friendly, the food excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for a family day with some friends of ours. Everyone was accommodating, very engaging in listing the specials of the day and recommendations, and simply making us feel welcome. That’s a big deal for my family, and the food mirrored the welcomed feeling. I would recommend this place to eat 10 out of 10!

Food was really good but they failed on service. Coffee served without sugar or asking if we wanted any and had to ask 3 times for it to be bought over. Then the same when we asked for the bill. Head waiter seems more interested in debating with colleagues than serving customers

Lovely dining experience for a large party. Very attentive and friendly staff - shout out to Cyril 🤩 Great food, just the right size portions and so very tasty. The whole ambiance was perfect and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Thanks guys, keep up the fabulous work 👍

One of my all time favorite restaurants in Newmarket. Eggs Royale and vegetarian breakfast are made to perfection every time. Best customer service and fair prices.

I have been to the Pantry on numerous occasions and always found the staff to be warm and friendly with great service. The food is also excellent. I booked a meal for 14 people in Feb 2022 and the service and food was exemplary, and also unlike most other restaurants the service charge was not automatically added on which made us feel very good about actually leaving a good tip for the wonderful service and evening we all had. Second time at this location first time I had eggs benedict which was very delicious the second time I had the Vegan breakfast which was pretty good except for we asked for no beetroots but still got them and the eggs were runny which I do not like but the fruit scone was very delicious and the tea with cream 😋 customer service was great

Nice small restaurant with two to three options of rotatory dishes that change depending on the day. Some of the main dishes will surprise you, others, not so much. My wife had the Veg mais, of butternut squash and she didn't like it at all, was lacking seasoning and some of the ingredients were just very little (like the goat cheese). Also they never ask how you want your burger, which is never a good sign. Although I had the pan fried salmon and it was amazing, crispy, soft and juicy all in one, great dish. And just another point, their scones are really good!

Had a lovely lunch here today, I had fish & chips and my daughter had a burger, we had a dessert each, warm bakewell tart with ice cream, & homemade plain scone and jam with clotted cream. Food was very nice.

Just brilliant. Glad I found it. The Burger with bacon jam is the best burger I've had. Will certainly visit again when I'm in the area. Can highly recommend. Friendly helpful staff. Good menu.

The food was exceptionally delicious. The Mojito was one of the best I've had in years. The atmosphere was cozy and the music gentle. The wait staff was on point and very courteous. My compliments the the cheif. I will be returning.
