The Ram Hotel Bar & Restaurant in Forest Heath

1 girl serving while we were there and it was very busy so it was a bit slow although she kept her cool very well.The food was very tasty although portions were on the small side and steak was cremated when we asked for medium and medium rare.Very nice tho despite the above.

Ordered the Ultimate Burger. Indeed, ultimate. I was going to take pictures, was too hungry. This was one of the best burgers I have had in my life of travels. Great service. Great people. How do you rate perfection?

After reading some reviews expected the worst but all the staff were super friendly I had a burger to eat it was really really good my room was nice what more could you ask for

Lovely atmosphere, great staff and excellent pub grub! The beer garden is beautiful in the summer!We love this place! Fabulous dinner this evening watching the sun set.

I did not stay at the ram hotel .I had a takeaway chicken roast dinner which was lovely .And the prices are reasonable as well I highly recommend.

Hasnt changed much in a hundred years! Be prepared to bump into yocals! Cant really enjoy pint out front with traffic noise.

Don't know where to start really?!.. on arrival i was asked to pay for my 5 night stay upfront or I wasn't allowed the key.. Taken out the building over the road to a total hovel, dirty, cobwebs, spiders everywhere, snail trails on the carpets, even a snail on the ceiling. It didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time! We was moved over to the pub building as I was not prepared to stay there. Room was slightly better but again very dirty, music very loud in the pub, this was a Sunday night, this carried on until very late. Each evening it did not get any better, I was staying there as I was on a driving course for work. I hardly slept all week because of the noise, one night the police were called to break up a fight right outside our bedroom window, this carried on until gone 12.. I felt very anxious about staying there, we never received a group discount, there was 7 of us staying there!. Room was never cleaned the whole time we stayed there, if your OK with being kept awake until gone 11pm each night then this place is fine. No breakfast included even though its supposed to be included, not a friendly place to stay!, rude staff and not very helpful. Save your money and sleep in your car!.. the only thing we found nice was the food, apart from that it's a shocking place to stay. My advice find a travel lodge!..

The food was tasty, hot and well cooked. I highly recommend the deluxe combo for a chance to sample everything. I also recommend the mozzarella cheese sticks to start. The pub itself is of traditional English style with Low exposed beams giving a warm and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely come a agin

Beer garden is lovely and the food was decent. The bar staff were rude but helpful. Maybe if they weren't talking to eachother while I ordered they would have got the order right as well. Uninviting, loud group of locals right by the front door when you walk in. Who then proceeded to stumble out of the pub at closing time making everyone know they were there..... Some of them drove off as well.
