We were made very welcome by the friendly helpful staff. They even allowed our dogs in while we had our meals in the bar area. The food was very good and the 2 men in our party enjoyed the pubs own beer. It was so good we ate there both nights whilst in the area.

OK, I understand the changing times in the hospitality industry but please don't use it as an excuse for a service that is advertised. Yes a limited menu is available but to not be able to deliver that menu is unacceptable . When top 3 items on the menu are redacted and you still take reservations you are being disingenuous to your patrons. This is not a result of brexit or covid. This is the result of an inept staff. The Walnut Tree will never be my go to restaurant in the future when I visit Worlington.

Fabulous lunch here yesterday. We were in the area on some nature trails and decided to find a local pub for lunch. The team were fabulous, really friendly, warm and welcoming. Both Jonny and I ordered the burger and chips and what a stonkingly good option that was. Absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, it meant we had no room for pudding! Would highly recommend and I'm looking forward to visiting again. It was also good value for money including the drinks and size of portions.

Beautiful place to have a bite to eat and the coffee was delicious.

Great experience. 3 people, different meals, different taste, all left satisfied. I had the pot roast with vegetables and gravy with a flakiest puff pastry ever on top. It was phenomenal! Then for desert I had the messy one, with Berry compote, meringue and whipped cream. Both had wonderful flavors that complemented each other.

Walked in and just got stared at by staff. We then ask if we seat our self only to be scoffed at and told no (when there was no sign or indication to know this). Food took about an hour to get out to us, server didn't know what drinks they had we had to look ourselves. Only redeeming factors is the outside is nice and food is decent.

Went for a Sunday Roast - main word ... DELICIOUS!Ample parking, lovely location, loved the decor and the staff were really attentive, but not overpowering. My partner had the soup for start which he was really happy with, I had the Biscoff cheesecake which as a Biscoff addict was so nice to have as an option on the menu and tasted amazing! We both had the beef roast - the beef was stunning! Not had a roast like this in a really long time, will be recommending to friends and family and will definitely be back.

We had a lovely lunch here today; we booked in advance, and I'm glad we did as it was busy. There were 6 of us and 3 dogs and were welcomed with a warm smile and friendly chat. The food was delicious and it was such a great price. I will definitely be coming back for food again. 😋

Headed to this pub for Sunday lunch with friends today, having reserved a table in advance. No fuss, friendly service, and a great food menu with couple of draught ales on tap. We had shepherd's pie, rib of beef and sausage and mash. Portion sizes excellent. Food extremely well cooked and presented, although there was just one g/f choice on the pudding menu, which reduced the value of our order. Would definitely return.

This restaurant is in a town called Worlington. There is parking at the restaurant but if it is full you can keep driving down the road and there's an area for additional parking. Nice bar with plenty of seats available. The menu has fairly priced items. I started with the brie wedges and garden chutney. Was very creamy and the chutney had a savory taste. Paired it with a house beer. As for the main I tried the slow cooked beef pie was a good choice but definitely ask for a side of mustard. Dessert was the Bakewell tart. First time every trying this and is definitely added to my list. For the review I will give this place a 8.9 out of 10 on that 🔥 scale. The beef could of used more flavor but the staff offered to pair this with mustard and definitely it raised the flavor. For future travel and food adventures follow my Instagram @officialgetfresh
