This bar has changed hands several times over the years we have visited. Still a good pub away from the busy town centre, not too far from the train station.

Friendly pub lots of space decent price drinks and great food at a price you won't find anywhere else kids dinners would have fed me and that was pizza and fries x2 plus sausage and chips came to £6

Good covid restrictions in place and the staff very polite and best of all lovely pint

The food was excellent the place was clean we go back again

It's very old and tired and looks like it's for locals only felt the need to check I still had my own liver before I left.
