Beach Road Chippy in Great Yarmouth

My God awful fish and chips 🤮Batter was very thick and very sloppy underneath the cooked area and the fish tasted like it was weeks oldChips were hard so we Wish we’d gone round the corner to a to the chippy there !!!Now I know why there was a que at that one !Ended up throwing it to this SeagullsI’m surprised the seagulls could take off after eating that batter 🤮At least I don’t have to use them again do yourself a favour and don’t go through The hell of trying them in the first place🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

We really enjoyed the sausage and chips we bought here. The chips were freshly cooked, I had a slight wait but it was worth it. Then we went and sat on the lovely beach at the end and ate them. Will be back for more 👍

Great Fish and Chips with good prices and good value kids meals.A good menu choice too.

Everything was cooked to order, fish had batter to die for and chips cooked to perfection. Large Cod and chips twice for around £15, huge portions as well. We'll worth a visit.

Great place to eat in. Lovely young man served us and was an absolute joy. Polite courteous, wonderful young man,a credit to himself and his family. All round great service and food.👍🏻

The only place we could find open at 7pm, and although the portions were huge, they were on the greasy side and the batter wasn't the best on the fish as it was too doughy. Nice young lad served us, and the staff were pleasant.

What is it they say....’never use an empty restaurant’ and this is the case. Portion sizes are way off the mark at £2.30. I appreciate times are hard but it’s not difficult to make money on a sack of potatoes. Customer service poor.. clearly running out of chips so too tight to give correct portion. When I mentioned this I got multiple scoffs....It’s funny how the chip shop round the corner was queued down the road? Of course pictures always say a thousand words...yum yum??

A FABULOUS ORIGINAL CAISTER Chippy I use to use it as a 19 yr old and different owners but it's the same old style chippie fab fish 🐠 no bones, lovely fat tasty chips 🍟 not over greasy like some. Pleasant friendly owners & staff. We are lucky to have it in our village as they open most lunchtimes and teatime. Also reasonably priced, very fair. SUPPORT YOUR TRULY LOCAL CHIPPY.
