Brilliant Fish and Chips in Great Yarmouth

Really nice cod and chips. Thoroughly enjoyed them. Extra crunchy bits with the chips which were lovely.The skin was left on the cod and I prefer without, but it was easy enough to remove.Pleasant staff and very helpful.

The fish was unreal I had a large cod with chips and peas. All of it was great but the fish was outstanding. Would highly recommended eating at this chippy for fish and chips. Can't really make comment on anything else but I imagine it would all be great only thing I could say is its a little pricey but it was really decent.

They do the best chips and have great burgers. Polite staff and always receive food very quickly. Not expensive. Only fish and chip shop we will bother with in the area.

Walked the dogs on the beach and wanted a fish and chip lunch. Did a bit of research and decided to try these. Wasn’t disappointed, large fish and chips had decent portion size and took back to the beach to eat it by the sea. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area and not much of a walk to the beach.

Visited the area for a holiday and chanced upon Brilliant Fish & Chips one evening for our tea. Service and food was exceptional, and massive portions! Will definitely visit again when we return to the area.

By far our favourite Fish & Chips takeaway, hands down. Unfortunately, we only get to visit a couple of times a year on holiday, but it is well worth the wait.Staff are very friendly and even during lockdown managed to keep a bright atmosphere around the shop and ensured that everyone was served promptly and safely.Their fish is always cooked fresh to order and one of the few places that still has rock salmon on the menu. The fish is hot, moist, but not greasy and the chips actually have some colour, crispness and flavour to them unlike the pale offerings of most fish and chips places these days. Some old school vibes added in with the offering of 'crispy bits' to go with your fish and chips.Even with the high standards of food and the great service, the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended if you are in the area or passing through.

Brilliant Fish and Chip Shop really are BRILLIANT!We ate from there 3 times during our weeks holiday with something different each night.My sister cannot eat fish with any skin on so they did it for her especially, no problem!All of the food was lovely and hot and freshly cooked for each customer.The fish was cooked to absolute perfection and the burgers were gourmet quality!The salad was beautifully fresh and colourful and everything on the menu had generous portions.Brilliant Fish and Chips were the only take away in Caister to have a queue of people happily waiting for their meals which were served very efficiently.The best we've had for years!Well done and thank you!

Perfect Fish and Chips. We drove here because of the reviews and it was worth the drive. The food was perfect, it was fresh, good portion sizes and tasted brilliant. The staff were friendly and service was very quick. I would highly recommend this place!!!

The name didn't disappoint !Battered scampi was delicious; So much nicer than breaded. We opted for a standard portion of chips and it was a very generous portion (large must be enormous).A short walk away we found some picnic tables but this chippy was clearly where the locals went instead of the beach front cafés.
