One of our first reviews in Yarmouth and sadly dissapointed..We tried this place due to it being 'award winning'...don't know how 😬.We ordered 3 large cod, 2 chips, saveloy and curry sauce. Each piece of fish looked huge in the box to find very very overcooked batter and very thin fish with no thick flakes - in all 3. Cold chips with no flavour, microwaved saveloy and curry sauce that stayed in the pot when tipped upside down.Another thing was the very slow and bland service.Very very disappointed and just another chippy, nothing special. In our opinion, anywhere can do the same as this and saveloys should never ever be microwaved.

Quality fish and chips. All cooked to perfection and good price. Best chippy I've been to.

Having checked the reviews (on here and on another well-known site) we walked 10 minutes from the beach for fish and chips from My Plaice. We were not disappointed. The large haddock was enough for two, and the chips, made from chunky potatoes, were fresh and well cooked. The batter on the fish was well seasoned and crispy, and the large curry sauce tasty without being too spicy. Well worth the 10 minute walk, and Susan put in cutlery, serviettes, and trays to allow me to share the food between the two of us. The Bank Holiday Monday may have been cool and overcast, but the fish and chips made our weekend.

Eat from here two nights running.. First night (Wednesday)was great. tasty, crunchy chips and sausage really nicely cooked. staff really friendly.. but the next day the chips were soggy and the sausage was very over done. Staff were stand offish... think next time I would try somewhere else

Very goodHelpful staff, great prices, clean inside and staff wear masks.Cod and chips freshly cooked and tasty, good size cod and plenty of chips.Battered sausage again freshly cooked and tasty, saveloy was perfect and tasty with a good size portion of chips. Will definitely return soon and given the option of phoning first to place the order.Luckily I found a place outside otherwise a short walk.Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

By far hands down the best Fish and Chip shop in Gorleston and a good 20 mile radius of Gorleston! Great food cooked to perfection and realistic prices. Staff always friendly and helpful. We have been here a lot and it is always consistent with portion sizes and quality! Perfect!

At last fish and chips I enjoyed. large cod and chips and it was large with nice tasty crisp batter, fish made up of white chunks if fish. When I got home and unwrapped the chips feel out nice and crisp, not a ball of white mushy potato. All served by nice friendly staff can't ask for more than that.

Wow Service and amazing fish and chips. We hadn’t visited since it changed hands so we were a little nervous. We were on holiday so thought we’d pop in. The service was fantastic cooked to order by Neal and served by Anita. The fish was amazing and Neal kindly cooked some scraps for us.The portions are huge and great value. We will definitely be back when we are up again. Cooked to order and tasted so nice who could resist.
