Castle Carvery in Great Yarmouth

Absolutely amazing, the best carvery I've ever had!Huge slices of meat, plenty of freshly cooked veg, not frozen stuff.The best roast potatoes ever! And help yourself to little cocktail sausages, I've never seen these free on a carvery before.Real huge homemade Yorkies too.Plenty of room, large children's play area both indoors and outside.Only a few parking spaces though.Well worth a visit 👍🏻

Beautiful Place Set In Scenic Gardens. Grand Entrance Leads Into Bar & Restaurant. The Sunday Carvery Was One Of The Best I've Ever Had. DEFINITELY Going Again.

A lovely meal from here normally everything is left under heaters for hours, and is dry, barely warm, or over cooked. This time everything tasted as it should do. The staff were pleasant, but the place does need a thorough deep clean. It was however great for what we needed, well done we haven't eaten here for years, so standard is coming up slowly. We will be back to check on cleaning standards and test out more food on the menu

Really nice clean surroundings and a fantastic choice of vegetables and 4 roast meats on the Carvery, on the whole its really good. But could of been a little better in my opinion. Had better carverys for less cost, but will go back im sure.

Lovely food, friendly staff and well priced. One of the best carveries we have been to. Wide selection of vegetables, all cooked perfectly.

This place deserves five stars for the food and carvery service!However on this particular visit it was SO cold inside the venue it was debatable to keep your coat on and eat! This meant the piping hot food very quickly went cold and left us sitting there for not very long after our meal before we quickly exited.Shame.Would I recommend this place? For a summer visit, yes. Winter, walk in and check out the temperature first!!

Came away for weekend with friends who had spoken highly of the castle. Called to see if dog friendly dogs allowed outside on patio area. On arrival met by member of staff who was very friendly and assisted us in getting sorted as there was 7 of us with five dogs. Weather was excellent so outside was not a problem. Even though it was a Sunday and very busy queue was managed well and did not have to wait that long considering it was a Sunday. I had the roast beef it was cooked to perfection and was a quality piece of beef.Other selections of meat you could see was cooked well and was of good quality The potatoes and all accompanying vegetables was first rate. Everyone in our group was very impressed with the meals.I would highly recommend this venue for a meal bar area had adequate staff and could not see people waiting that long to me served.Cracking venue will be definitely visiting again when back in the area.

Called in for a carvery after reading other reviews, was not disappointed!Luckily we arrived for 12pm as when we left around 1pm it was full!£9.99 (Sat)for standard size which was plentiful) £2 extra for supersize (which my husband had, you just get more meat). 4 choices of meat, help yourself to Yorkshire pudding, cocktail sausages & veg. Highly recommended for the money! Staff very friendly and helpful
