Fish & Chip in Great Yarmouth

Over-priced and poor value for money. Fish was in soggy batter so had to throw most away. Chips stingey portion size and more hard bits than chips almost. My recommendation for F&Cs on front is Terry's.

Chips under cooked and fish tasteless covered in oil. Not worth going to. Very overpriced

What a shame !!!3 stars because I detest businesses that charge for condiments 🤨Fish and chip prices are pretty uniformed around the seafront £10 ishI asked for large fish and chips and was told 9.95 as I couldn't see the red sauce i asked where it was... The girl serving them put 3 standard packets of ketchup on my tray, then asked for £10.45I said your charging people over 15p each for a basic packet of condiment😳 after charging £10 for the again basic fish and chip meal.She said it was 50p for 3 or 6 for a poundNot well pleased at all !!Poor moms and dads having to fork up extra after buying the over priced meal is just profiteering 5p to cover costs or something.... Everyone knows you need at least 3 on a mealSo shame on you !!!

Good sausage and chips but terrible customer service. Ordered sausage and chips five times. Emma threw the chips on the counter and then preceded to tell me I hadn't paid for them.Proving it by showing me the card reader hadn't given out a receipt--- it wouldn't I paid cash as a sign asks you to on the way in. Terrible attitude from her and her mate on the till...

Having grown up on the coast i love a chip shop like this one. Best i been too visit every year on holiday. Wish it was slightly cheaper but given the location its fairly reasonably priced

Poor service, fish batter was very oily, chips tasted like yesterday's left overs recooked 5 times. Never again was disgusting

My family and I dined in last Saturday and I must say we will NEVER go back. We ordered 2 medium haddock, 1 large chips and 2 kids nugget buckets but what we got was 2 x cod and chips, 2 x nugget buckets & 1 extra portion of chips at a cost of £32!!The young girl who took our order had to confirm what we ordered & still couldn’t get it right. When our food arrived I told the girl in the restaurant that our order was wrong and her answer was “we can’t take food back” in a rather snotty manner. We were talking about it & I looked over at the two girls who were the servers and they were clearly talking to each other about us. I’m appalled at the cost of food, the taste of the food & the staff. The batter on my “haddock” was not cooked right & it was also very dry. I was also appalled that we had to pay 10% extra to sit in & eat. You would expect plates & proper cutlery but no. Our food was served in cardboard trays with wooden cutlery. The only good thing to come of it was that my two children got to keep the buckets. We will never return!!

Pretty good chippy to be fair fish was fresh and chips were good. Nice busy place which meant food wasn't in heat cabinets for too long would definitely recommend. Brought 2 medium fish and chips for about £14
