Fish & Grill in Great Yarmouth

Best grilled tuna steak medium rare ever and ocean basket was so impressive, compliments to the chef. Friendly staff and service thumb up 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. Will be back again. xxx

Dined in, after reading so many great reviews. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the staff were polite. I had the cheeseburger, my wife and daughter both had Haddock and chips. The chips were cooked to perfection and tasted great. My burger was well presented however it was a bit tough and dry around the edges and although there was some pink and a little juice it didn't seem to be the freshest meat, the red cabbage slaw was nice. The Fish was a little on the undercooked side. The mushy peas and curry sauce appeared to be watered down. We had high expectations and visually those expectations were met and the staff were good, however we left a little disappointed as the high price tag doesn't reflect the quality.

Very nice plaice and chips with Curry sauce. Everyone in our party of 10 really enjoyed their food and the staff were brilliant as well. They catered for my two vegetarian daughters and for my wife who is coeliac so needs gluten free. When I am back that way, I will definitely go again!

A nice restaurant with a very delicious fish & chips plate. The restaurant is small and clean. I like this restaurant, I come back.

We walked past and the smell hit us! So decided to go in. We was shown to a table and handed the menu. At first the price was a bit of a shock. But we didn’t want the hotel room to smell of take away… so we ordered. And thank goodness we did!! The portions were huge. Well was for me, husband enjoyed sampling mine..I had the chicken kebab with barbecue sauce, and Ben ordered the cheese burger. Thinking it would be just a burger with some cheese on! His little face when it came to the table it was like Christmas!It was well worth the money! Took little time from order to table and was fairly busy for a Monday night.We will definitely be back next time we go to great

Visited here while on holiday after people highly recommending it. We were very disappointed, chips had a funny taste and were very hard, sausage and curry sauce were OK. They weren't the worse I've ever had but definitely not the best. However staff were polite and we were served quickly. Unfortunately won't be returning if we holiday in Great Yarmouth again

A small but well laid out restaurant. The staff were flat out when we arrived and there were 20 of us. They got everything right and really looked after us during the meal. The food was excellent and we had a variety of meals. During the meal we had a visit from the chef to make sure we were satisfied. Make sure you book as this is one of the gems along the sea front.

Just had dinner pre Hippodrome, you get 10% off the bill if you show your tickets. Food was lovely, best chips ever - I had the grilled Salmon, they have grilled fish options for a more healthy choice. Someone on the table ordered onion rings - you can see from pics what a massive portion the onion rings are. Staff really friendly but not pushy - far better than a chip shop chain. Will be back thanks - now off for some pirate circus !

Employees there are lovely, i had fish and chips, the cod was perfectly cooked and tasted so fresh. Definitely one of the best fish and chips i had. I live 2 hours away and i might consider going back. Minus one star for the hygiene in the bathroom, they need to keep it clean, especially in the pandemic. It was nearly £15 per fish and chips but it was well worth it!
