Golden Dragon in Great Yarmouth

Rude on the phone and very unhelpful. Only asked to change one of the dishes from pork to chicken and was told it’s not possible and they don’t make dishes not on the menu. Also only take cash, who doesn’t have a card machine In this day and age.

Food is lovely. Combination meals are great value. You'll need to be hungry or great to share.

AVOID! I had a takeaway from here on Sunday evening - the following morning I began to feel unwell and it has now been confirmed by my GP that I have a stomach infection, i.e. food poisoning. I had the chicken in plum sauce with plain noodles. Nothing else I ate prior to this meal could have caused this. Do not take the risk with this place, go elsewhere.

Ordered a take away 3 weeks ago. My mum was very ill after eating the chop suey. I didn't eat the same. Ordered the special fried rice, only 3rd of the dish was rice rest just a bit off meat and veg. Not worth the money one prawn in the dish aswell.

Terrible food . The chicken was processed and in square cubes the mushroom rice was awful it really smelt bad. The was no flavour to anything and I hate to give bad reviews but this is so justified.

Tasty food and good quantity . Tried all vegetarian dishes - veg spring rolls, mushroom and egg fried rice, veges in sweet & sour sauce (was too sweet for our liking) and Thai green curry

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE. I walked into the Golden Dragon at 5pm and left at 7pm. 2 HOURS for food that wasn't cheap. I would not recommend to anyone due to the poor service. They gave my order to someone else, after an hour I asked where my order was.... They said " oh we gave it to someone" I asked how, they explained the order had another ticket and they throw my ticket away. How do you throw an order away and not expect the person to come and ask where it has been. Horrible service do not recommend.

Really nice food, will say probably the best rice I've had in years, would be 5 stars except for one little gripe, they take phone orders but don't even give you an estimate on how long and when you go along you're waiting outside with people waiting to order.Get a way for phone orders to be picked up quicker and be 5 stars all day long
