We were in holiday for a week so unfortunately won't be back for a meal. I gave 4 stars because the staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. I am gluten and dairy free but that was no problem. It is lovely to be able to eat out and find a variety of meals yo choose from. Well done. Highly recommended.

First time out in a long time for me and my mum due to restrictions and this place didn't disappoint us, the staff were super friendly and really helpful. We aren't really people friendly so we asked for a table out of the way and they put us on a table away from others and didn't seat anyone near us. We were the only ones wearing masks, but all of the windows and doors were open to create a great chilled atmosphere, the carvery was incredible and food was very hot unlike some other carveries and very delicious. We will be back next time we are in the area, thank you to all the friendly staff and stay safe guys and girls.

Booked for 19-00, table ready, but required a little clean. No problem, dealt with instantly. Ordered wine and food at the bar. Explained there was no drinks menu, and informed new menus were due in in, but chap behind bar took me through list of wines and options. Sirloin steak was cooked to perfection as requested, medium rare. Other burger dish for partner was equally as good. Minor point was that chips were very dry and floury. Service overall was good, value for money ok, and we booked to come back the following day at 19-00.On 13/06/22 we arrived and were seated at our booked time. We again ordered a bottle of wine, as per previous evening. There was quite a wait to place our food and drink orders, with only one person on the bar, but she was very helpful and pleasant. We waited quite a while for our food, as there appeared to be only 3 front of house staff members, who were trying to tend bar, clear tables, and deal with numerous carvery customers. Food quality was fine, when it arrived, but waiting time became a pain.

Spacious comfortable pub. Staff friendly and welcoming. Good menu, although we ate early on a Sunday evening and quite a lot was no longer available. Food was delicious especially the sticky toffee pudding.

We had a wonderful vegetarian Carvery meal here when we popped in while passing. The team were friendly, polite and attentive throughout our stay and the food was great.I dropped my bank card while in there and didn't realise until the next morning that it had gone missing. After a few calls to other places, Will picked up and to my relief, he had stored my card away safely for me to collect! Thanks for a lovely meal and when we come back next time, I promise I'll leave with my card!

Had a lovely Sunday roast last week. First time going, great service. Reasonably priced. Food was good, I would personally prefer a little more variety of vegetables. However doesn't take away the fact the food was delicious. Will definitely go back and recommend. 😊.

Went here for a family festive meal. When arrived, table was set out lovely and a warm welcome from the staff.Starters arrived quickly and presented really nice, and a good sized starter.Mains we opted for the carvery, and a good selection of meats and veg.Desserts were really lovely and tasty.Throughout the meal staff were helpful and pleasant. We would high recommend a meal here, started our family Christmas off lovely.

Walking in on a Friday night and seeing the restraint not full made us panic but as soon as we walked in we were greeted with the biggest smiling face from a lady with blond hair. She assisted us to our table and could not be more helpful with assisting my blind disabled husband. Two of our party had a carvery and the chef told us to wait while he changed over the food and offer us fresh veg/potatoes and meat. He did not need to do this but he put his customers first and we have to say it is the BEST carvery we have had and by god we love a carvery. The staff were extremely helpful and were the best in the business. They are not only a credit to themselves but also the company and place where they work. They should get some credit from head office after the service we had experienced.Love it here. Can’t wait to come back and eat here again. Thank you one and all

Burger was overcooked and very dry. Onion rings were mushy, definitely not fresh and really overpriced. The wait times are pretty awful too.The good news is that the place is clean, staff are nice and that is about it.
