Jay Jays in Great Yarmouth

It was OK. Probably a victim of its own success and location. The coffee and drink descriptions are romantic ideals and versions for what you actually get. And £3 for an espresso? Yikes. The kids hot chocolate was not 'Italian chocolate' it was Cadbury powder with hot milk and water. Fine enough and great location.

Wonderful food for both lunch and a cake pitstop! Mocha and chocolate brownie in the picture. The staff are very friendly and helpful.The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because there isn't an accessible bathroom or changing area. I know this isn't a requirement but as a disabled mum this definitely knocks a star off for me.

Stopped by for lunch today - a good fish menu on offer. Ordered the fish finger sandwich - absolutely fantastic!! Be warned it is huge - with superbly cooked fresh fish and great chips. Excellent cooking and good value.If you are in Gorleston ( a fabulous sandy beach and nice long prom for a walk) make sure to visit Jay Jay' s - super friendly and helpful staff too.

Cracking place for a tea, coffee or food walking along the Prom at Gorleston beach. Definitely worth a visit. Been back here a few times and never been disappointed. Food is served quick and to order and if the weather is decent you can sit outside and eat/drink whilst enjoying the views. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Great cafe at other end of the beach at Gorleston, its our go to destination when walking the dog.We usually only have a drink, however the selection of hot and cold food looks really tempting and not expensive...Often busy, so must be a good destination (as not much else near to it)!

Nice lunch here today. Good food at a decent price. Good cake on offer too. Nice space indoors and seating out on the promenade.A great spot to stop for a bite away from the main drag.

We both enjoyed baguettes, which were served with a light side salad. My choice wasn't on the set menu but it was made without any fuss. Lovely light lunch, lovely views we would certainly be coming back.

Lucky enough to visit the fantastic Jay Jays today. Ordered fish finger sandwich and it was more freshly cooked fish fillets than I’ve often been served for a fish supper! Amazing. Also recommend the other meals, breakfast bap, Brie & walnut panini and ‘dirty wedges’ (home made chilli topped wedges). We were rather full and very happy by the end of this feast. Lovely cheerful staff too who were really keen to make sure we enjoyed our visit.

Lovely clean cafe on the beach. Fabulous choice of food to eat in or take out. Excellent quality food. Highly recommend. Excellent position on Gorleston beach.

Very pleasant, nice new feel to the place. Quality food, but going by my coffee, not that cheap but what do you expect for a water side venue.
