Great pub. The service was brilliant. The food amazing and the cocktails great too. I can't really fault it.

Really easy to book through Instagram. Young staff who were enthusiastic and willing to attend to all our needs. Great food at a reasonable price. Can't fault our experience at all.

Really pleased when I heard that the Jolly Farmers were going up market with their stylish decor and refurbishment, ditching the “Jolly” in Farmers to help launch their new image and reputation.Unfortunately, the pub is still plagued by the number of teenagers and wasn’t surprising to see a large scale fight break out. Hopefully this won’t be a regular occurrence because I really would like to see this local pub do well.

We loved the pub and the Sunday roast exceeded our expectations. You would be not mad to to try it out. Can wait to return in the week and try the main food menu and jam with the band #theextreamlyhappycouple #thefarmers #greatyarmouth #food #goodfood #roastdinner

Brilliant local pub with real atmosphere and good staff. A real pleasure to visit, nice to see a non-chain pub in this day and age. Excellent food and service since a recent takeover.

My Sister and myself had a beautiful experience at The Farmers. We both visited for the first time through a recommendation through a couple of our friends, and we were very pleased . We were greeted with warmth by all staff. The food was delicious and impressed with the hospitality. We both definitely will be back. Lovely atmosphere! Highly recommend!

So we visited this place tonight, phoned up to confirm a booking for 16 people would be okay, which was confirmed for 6pm. We was given a menu with 50 % of the menu crossed out because it wasn't available, we actually wished we were told before hand. After waiting 2 hours for our meals I can honestly say the meal was bland/ Small portions and very dry. We asked for some Gravy and sauces, only to be told "sorry we haven't got any"? We were very disappointed and complained about this and was given a complementary Drink. (It would've of been nice for the manager to come over instead of the poor waitress having to deal with the situation)Thewaitresses were very nice and helpful and apologetic, and we understood it wasn't there fault. Such a shame we had a bad experience as the pub/restaurant was very nice inside and out. Disappointed Customers. Having said this I hope they improve with time.

Waited for our meals for 2 Hours YES 2 Hours!!! after ordering. Food wasnt very good, had the pork Belly that was basically Fat!! Other friends and families meals weren't up to standard, very DRY and bland, with no added sauces available after asking ! I think this Refurb pub are trying too hard too impress but didn't work with our meals unfortunately. We didn't like the fact that the manager didn't come out to apologize yet sent the poor waitress over ( who was very good at her job) ! Will not be returning unfortunately , Expensive and went home hungry. Hope it improves.

I thought i would suport the Jolly Farmers after they reopened this week so booked our anniversary dinner. The pub has been refitted and had a nice warm atmosphere, new staff so we expected a few hiccups. Didn't get offered drinks at the table so had to go to the bar, the Ale I chose had an issue with the pump so had to go for second choice no big deal. On to the food, my wife had mussels with a garlic bread which was very nice, I had the pigeon in Yorkshire pudding with some brasied shallots, a decent concept but the pigeon was over cooked. Mains were poor, we went for the partridge which was again over cooked and hard to eat and the pork belly which was chewy rather than crispy as promised. Neither dish came with a sauce which was a mistake as both were dry and hard to eat, neither of us finished. We skipped desert and headed home for some cheese and biscuits....On the positive side the lady front of house was plesent and attentive without being intrusive. I would be prepared to give them another go as it must be difficult starting up but I cant recommend them on my first experience.
