Muse Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

They were serving the same menu but in the Cliff Bar instead of The Muse restaurant which was closed.The food didn't look anything like the photos others have posted on here. All of the reviews with the fancy looking food were written a year ago or more. It's a shame because from the old photos the food looked delicious.

It took them 45 mins to bring starters out. I ordered salad and leaves were very dry as if they weren't washed or left out all day and another 40 mins before the main came out. I ordered 6oz rib eye and my partner ordered 10oz sirloin but what we got instead was 8oz rib eye and 8oz fillet. Very disappointing.

The restaurant itself is stunning - decor is lovely. Service was very good. My mum and I had lunch from the 3 courses for £12 menu. We both had ribs which were amazing. Mum had seabass and she liked hers. I had steak (risky as am very fussy with my steak). I asked if they could cook it blue, steak came out and I got medium rare. Nice piece of meat and didn't want to be a pain and make them cook another one so I ate it and it was ok. The blue cheese sauce with it was very nice. We both had lemon panna cotta tart which was amazing. Overall good experience except my steak so I took a star off.

Very tasteful decor and the food was first class. Prompt and wonderful friendly service from waitress Melissa. I would definitely go again.

The food is great!!! I would like to say a big thank you for all the staff and my waitress... I have allergy's for certain foods and they made sure everything was done perfectly for me as well as checking up on me. I have never had such great service before! P.S I NEED to come back for your cocktails

Celebrated my birthday at this lovely restaurant,food was very tasty, cocktails were amazing and not forgetting the staff who's customer service was second to none. Will definitely recommend treating yourself to a night out here

Great food using local ingredients & well presented. served by polite & attentive staff in a beautiful restaurant. A must especially for big occasions such as birthdays & anniversary!

Had a great evening at Muse, staff were very welcoming, food was amazing and the cocktails were great! The décor is lovely, cant rate this place high enough!!!

Have had a few amazing meals at Muse. Food was delicious and the decor fab. Waiting staff attentive and cocktails delicious. Will be back.

What an amazing place ,went here for high tea . was the best day ever .. topped it off with great cocktails , the staff were very friendly and the service was quick and efficient . cant wait for our next trip ..
