Never Turn Back in Great Yarmouth

Great place for a local ghost ship beer. On the beach near Caistor lifeboat. Don't be put off by the pub sign painted on the chimney stack. This is a gem. Good food and great place to chill. Grade 2 listed building with lots of retro character. Staff are great. Also welcome camper vans to stay in car park. Great.

We stumbled on this gem last year after purchasing a caravan nearby. In the 5 times we have visited our van since, we have been to the never turn back every day of our visit with the exception of 1 time. Drinks amazing, food exceptional and the staff amazing. Dog friendly and they let campervans stay for free. The carvery is amazing but needs to be prebooked. The locals are friendly and welcoming too and we have made a lot of friends here. My favourite place to be. Not the biggest pub so I am probably doing myself no favour by recommending it as it means more custom and less room for me when I come down. Try it. You wont regret it.

Absolutely 💯 fantastic free all night parking for campervan if you book in advance.........the food was great and john the barman was the best I've ever met wot a superstar......love this place with the beautiful beach within walking distance best place if you want to see sunrise amazing

We popped in for a pint whilst walking the dog, great pub especially on a sunny day. Friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. A lovely building and garden, recommended.

Family of four with our fur baby, Bow the dog... had and amazing dinner, staff couldn't of been more helpful and friendly. Food was amazing. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Definitely will be coming back.

Burger was well cooked and tasty all done by one person in the kitchen!!Friendly owners/staff who took time out to make you feel welcome.Thanks for the cheesecake it was delicious 😋

Best pub I’ve been to in years!!! Staff are a credit to this place and the food that comes out is like eating at home so fresh so well prepared and sent out on plate to table with love! Great great great place. They also do overnight campers are allowed!😎✅👍🏻

Enjoyed a drink here on Bank Holiday weekend. Table service and paid for drinks as we ordered. Dog friendly with water bowls. Cheerful staff and tables were well distanced.
