Great food great fish and chips. The staff were so friendly. Was a real treat as it was our last night in gorleston. Shame we couldn't go back again.

Loved, loved, loved this bar. Literally just left the place. We will most definitely be returning. Loved to see the place packed and so lively! Staff so friendly and the man with the goaty was a laugh. Really great. Thank you #tweedy im sure the owner said. Definitely recommend if your older and feel out of place at oceans

We're here in Gorleston-on-sea for the weekend and were on route to the Indian restaurant.. We stopped at Bar 1 for a quick drink about 3.30pm and didn't leave until 10pm! We had a lovely meal ( the chef was a lovely bloke) the manager was the host with the most.. Everyone who worked there was friendly and efficient. And we spoke to the friendly locals like we went there all the time! The place has such a friendly atmosphere. Is clean ( plenty of sanitizer dotted about) and we loved the outside space too.. Will definitely re visit 😊From the man who drank Newcastle Brown and his wife ( who drank water 💧)

Stumbled upon Bar 1 after a busy day on the North Norfolk Banksy trail. Great food...MASSIVE portions, so big we had to give desert a miss sadly. We will definitely return again when in the area. Very highly recommended. Thanks for your hospitality.

A very lovely family friendly pub, with great atmosphere. Four legged friends are welcomed too.Very friendly staff. Without getting too overbearing, managed to keep my whole family entertained during our visit. Amazing food too. Overall British hospitality at its best! Something we all have missed during Pandemic.Would highly recommend a visit.

Went a private party here which had exclusive use of the venue. Hosts paid through the nose so would have thought more was done to keep out and advise public that this was a private event and to keep from entering. But this was left to the hosts to police. Also there were not enough bar staff!! After paying so much for the food (which was mediocre, and nothing more than normal party food like finger sandwiches, quiche etc.) and the venue they could have made so much more money by having on an extra person at the bar. The venue was full from 7:30 till close at 11:30 and we often had to wait 20 mins to be served and even then they got orders wrong repeatedly.If you want a private party!! Go elsewhere!!
