Olive Garden Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

Very good Cypriot Greek restaurant in the centre of Gorleston.There is often parking in the street close to the restaurant. If not there is a car park almost opposite the restaurant which I am told is free after 16:30.We were a party of nine and the restaurant coped admirably. The staff were all friendly and efficient, the food delivered promptly and nice and hot.We all agreed that the food was delicious. One minor point, the starters are quite variable in size. I had the Souvlaki which was quite 'bijou'. My wife had the Kalahari which was twice the size and others had the ribs which were larger still.Overall though, an excellent experience and if we lived closer I think we would be regulars.

Came here last night. It was absolutely stunning. The pods are so different it was like being on holiday. You can play your own music over the blootooth speaker in them which I thought was a nice toutch. We had the early grazer menu and there was 3 of us so we all picked different foods and shared it. The food was amazing I highly reccomend trying this. Our waiter Alex was absolutely brilliant. He was so attentive and pronounced for me what I couldn't on the menu. . He opened doors for me came to the table a few times asked how everything was and was going nerally a top notch waiter. We had the best night here so thankyou. I'll definitely be back again. What a gem of a place this is.

We've been looking for a good place to eat with a wide variety of gluten free and vegetarian options which are actually open and don't close at 5.30 or 8 O'clock. Usually head to the country but thought we'd try The Olive Garden, what a real gem we have now found. The staff were excellent throughout being friendly, helpful for those with dietary requirements, knowledgeable about the menu and always attentive but not in your face. If you need more, you're given an electronic gizmo for calling for attention or your bill. We ate outside in one of the "sheds" which was light, airy, comfortable, clean and more than I'd expected. The menu, like the portions, is immense. Apart from the "steak and chips with Tommy k" brigade there's something for everyone (and they do the steak - not sure about the Tommy k) and more for the more adventurous. The meals were served piping hot and the portion size impressive. We did manage a small pudding which was also delicious. I can't comment on how authentic the menu is but it makes me want to go and find out. The cost for three of us with drinks came to £20 a head which is far better than I've ha given the quality of service and meal than I've tried in a long time. Great place, thank you and well done. We'll definitely be coming back.

My wife and I visited this restaurant and was thoroughly unimpressed by the poor level of service shown by a female waitress. The disregard for manners and lack of common courtesy means that my wife and I will take our business elsewhere and will not be recommending it to anyone else. It's a shame as the food was great, it's a shame the female waitress I was 'served' by could not uphold the same level of standards, let alone small talk. I hope you take this review seriously and understand that poor customer service can and will push the business into the ground. Please re-train the member of staff that attempted to look after us. Food is absolutely amazing with generous portions. I love going or ordering from Olive Garden. I think that overall food is worth it and service is great. Also been there as part of a small gathering which was nice as well.

Love the food and the staff are always polite and welcoming. Have been here several times and will be back again would highly reccomend.

Very impressed with the standard of food served which was delicious. Great veggie options too! Good vibrant atmosphere and an excellent and friendly service. Look forward to returning.

Lovely food very clean good staff

We dined in one of the pods, warm, cosy and private. Could play our own music on the Bluetooth speaker, nice idea. Staff were lovely, pleasant and friendly. Absolutely nothing I can criticise, the food was delicious.

Really great food with service to match! Good value for money and a lovely atmosphere. Would recommend!
