Orchid House in Great Yarmouth

Bland tepid and very disappointing and charged 3.20 for bag of prawn crackers which most chinese takeaways give for free especially after spending over £40 Most of food ended up in the bin ! Would definitely not use again !

Inedible food which is super expensive for what it is!Staff were rude would absolutely tell you to avoid this place.The menu says one thing and you get something completely different! Highly salty, dried 'chicken balls' that have been refried and actually were not chicken balls but the crusty ends of chicken cut into tiny pieces! Seaweed was salty, noodles had hardly any noodles but a foil tin of bean sprouts, beef and mushrooms had 3 pieces of beef (I counted)Absolutely appalling do not go!!!

Portion sizes were spot on. Quite often Chinese food comes in a huge container. The portion size was for 1 person. I'd agree with other reviewers that the cost is a bit pricey.The veg spring rolls were...different. The mushroom curry and veg chowmein were very tasty.

Bought chicken balls and they were really hot. Burnt my mouth a little so drank water and spilt it all down my t-shirt. Not impressed, if they were cooler none of this would of happened. They should have cooled them down before delivering them to me.

We went tonight greeted by a very pleasant young lady.we thought we would have to wait age's for the food it was ready in 10 mins brilliant. Food was very good aswell all round very good experience.

After reading recent reviews almost didn't go. Glad I didn't take any notice. Had the Singapore vermicelli and lemon chicken.It was very good, hence the 5 stars.

It was alright. We order some food here because we where staying in the caravan park opposite. The location is very convenient for the park. The food was alright but the portion sizes of the noodles seemed small. They only accept cash, that is annoying. Overall it was alright.

Nice food, but portions are very small, chip portions are small, 12 chicken balls on the menu (well you can't call them balls (batters thicker than the chicken) and it's like there cut smaller, sauce's are the same size as a medium curry sauce from your local chippy and £2.10, like I say, nice food but little portions, cash only and can't call them and order as number doesn't work,

Bit late in the day ..but..after visiting California Sands for the 2nd year on 'the trot' I cannot recommend this takeaway highly enough!Freshly cooked generous portions, high quality dishes cooked to perfectionSuperb, we get what we pay for..and most certainly, this LOVELY takeaway does not disappoint!!
