Othello Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

The food is perfect and the hospitality of the staffs is outstanding. I ate such a voluminous and delicious sea bass grill for the first time. I also recommend garlic toast with cheese and squid boiled in red wine.

The food was incredible, compliments to the chef 🙂 all the team working were so friendly and helpful and looked after is really well, making sure our food was cooked well or needing anything else. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back

5 star experience from Micheal and his team. Went with 3 work colleagues on a gloomy Tuesday night and spirits were immediately lifted with a wonderful welcome followed by the most fabulous of food before Micheal regaled us with some wonderful stories.. Brilliant night, brilliant hosts and the best food for miles.

Food was really quite nice, the only thing that put me off all though it was nice I felt it was slightly over priced from what I could personally see there was no prices until you got in. food itself though was nice and would go again I just think it's bit more expensive then most other places. 1 thing that was slightly annoying you had somebody every minute throughout your meal asking if everything is OK. you do only need to do one check back to a table ...They were very friendly, the owner came out and greeted us towards the end of the meal ... very friendly and welcoming guy. would defo go agen tho, recommend beef curry dish .. 👌

Very nice place. A nice looking place on the seafront compared to the others which is why we went in. Then attentive and helpful staff. Nice food to.

Thank you "othellos"We enjoyed our family meal tonight , our waiter i believe was James ,he was very courteous and attentive . A well stocked bar, our drinks orders were taken.we were given complimentary seeded bread and olives while we waited for our starters. Again a nice selection on menu. We had delicious garlic mushrooms, crab claws, whitebait, houmous and pitta. My granddaughter had the child's menu of fish fingers chips and beans( which 4 year olds love) but could of had nuggets burgers pasta or steak . There were fish dishes,salads, steak and more on the menu.Our mains were mostly chicken dishes, very succulent, the mixed grill was huge with big pieces of tasty meat, the sautéed potatoes with onion were a big hit and the portion sizes were ample x ( thankyou chef.) And Micheal , the owner is a lovely sincere man, who always puts his customers first.

What a fantastic meal, absolutely beautiful.The Monkey Stake was exquisite, cooked superbly.The plaice was the biggest I've seen served.The seabass was first class too.Huge portions of fresh sides.Has to be Yarmouths top restaurant.Michael and his staff were so welcoming and friendly.I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.Must visit

Excellent restaurant, lovely quality food and value for money. Michael is a warm friendly host. I first ate in this restaurant almost 40 years ago and it's still in the same family. There is no better anywhere.

Just left this establishment, the food is excellent, large portion size (bear that in mind) Great staff and atmosphere.If I'm ever in Great Yarmouth again I will definitely be returning
