Planet Spice in Great Yarmouth

Visited planet spice with my dad and brother whilst in great yarmouth for the weekend. We were very impressed in the quality on the food served. Cold draught cobra served too. Bindi bhajee was 10/10 would highly recommend. Definitely worth a visit here!

Food could have been hotter temperature-wise.Hair in Onion Bhaji.They forgot my order for main course.They forgot my order for coffee.Should not need to order things twice.Not acceptable.Not impressed.Not going back.The End!

A very popular local restaurant situated in the Norfolk village of Ormesby.As you enter you get a lovely authentic welcome by attentative staff.The place has beautiful decor and a nice atmosphere for that family meal or romantic one to one time.The food is tasty well cooked and the portions are wholesome with the menu having lots to offer. If your eyes are bigger than your stomach you can ask to take it home with you.Staff were polite accommodating and looked after us.There is a range of deserts that look great. Kids love them but yet to try them myself.There is a small car park at the rear but limited so be aware but can park nearby on the road.The price is reasonable and worth the cost.As a venue and quality of food I reccomend it and look forward to visiting again.

Excellent food! Every meal I've had from planet spice has been great. The restaurant itself is so lovely and the staff are always super attentive and polite. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Really disappointed came here for a meal after waiting well over an hour our food came some of it was luke warm and the meat cold in the middle they took it back and put it in the microwave chips too still not hot in the middle one of the waiters laughed when we told him it was still cold my partner pointed out it wasn’t funny as we had waited ages.Plus being diabetic we were getting a little concerned in the end they cooked new for us which came to us hot why this couldn’t be done the first time I don’t know!We got £5 of the bill which was an insult considering my friend couldn’t eat any of the main due to it being under cooked we were told we would get looked after next time but there won’t be a next time we used to go once a week here to once a fortnight but i won’t be going again now it was completely ruined 😡

Good food, good service, good portions good atmosphere, good experience that I would fully recommend.

Its ok - food good, only issue is you feel rushed. We did ask for time before ordering and for a Sunday night it wasn't busy. This was not a one off, last visit was the same, would make for a much more enjoyable meal if they just gave a bit more time.

On holiday in Great Yarmouth saw good reviews and decided to try it. Excellent service, food to takeaway was piping hot and full of flavour. I would say the best Indian meal we have had. Even though the resturant was very busy we didnt wait long at all.
