One star because i had to rate it, food was the worst I have had at anywhere in u.K.Chips were chewy and hard, fish was from a frozen batch and not fresh as we were by the sea i would of expected it to be fresh, it was not much bigger than the average fish finger with the meat been grey in colour rather than white. Took ages to get served and not worth the wait, I would definitely avoid this place .

Brilliant fish and chips in a cosy classic fish and chip shop. Owner is very friendly and his wife also makes an amazing proper curry if you order a couple of days ahead.

Meal: Regular sized haddock(£4.50) and chips(£1.50). First the good news, the the chips were okay and plenty of them, the batter on the fish was nice and crisp. The fish however was rather tasteless, watery and only just warm in the middle, obviously not fresh but straight out of the freezer and an undercooked fillet of dubious quality . The rim of the ketchup bottle had a deposit of dried sauce around the rim, not hard to rectify when they had no customers at the time.

Good eating experience, cater for kids, do gluten and dairy free on request. Nothing too much trouble. Just off the main drag so easy to overlook. The proof is in the eating, my grandkids devoured every morsel and said it was all very yummy.

Quite possibly the worst fish and chips in the British Isles. The dire tired looking decor, should have served as a warning. But oh no the glowing Google reviews 4 and 5 stars convinced me to give it a try.The chips looked warmed up from the Edwardian era.Coupled with over cooked batter on the fish, tea served in children's cups !I'm not sure, but it seemed to have the stench of an embalmers waste bin.Even salmonella would give it a wide berth,DO NOT ENTER.

I've eaten here a few times over the years and it has always been good. I could always remember it to be the cheapest in the area but last time I went it was the same price as most other chip shops. Either way, food was good and the staff friendly. Very good

Food is kept from last sessions and reheated. Friendly man is Roger but he doesn't look after local people.I wouldn't eat there again as he wouldn't give a refund and I had 2 mouth fulls. I used to have the same establish firm but the ones that serve good food are in town. If you want good fish and chips, keep walking to the best. Convenience isn't always the best route. Like I said walk closer to the pleasure beach. The truth Roger.

We are here August 2014 had two large cod n chips and two pops for a tenner and it was some of the tastiest I've ever had a short walk from the pier we took it out and enjoyed ours on the beach but they do have seating inside when we go back we'll be stopping in for another bite. The staff are really friendly and even stopped open to serve us they were about to close up .10/10

We visited Great Yarmouth in August 2014, and were looking for somewhere that could do proper 'gluten free' fish and chips. We were not disappointed and received Roger's personal service. Fabulous traditional fish and chip shop and very good value. If we come back to G-Y we will definitely pop in for supper.

We followed our noses down the sea front until we found Rogers. Wow, authentic great fish and chips that was as cheap as chips...Lovely staff and amazing food. If I lived local this would be a regular place to eat.
