Found the place completely out of the blue and welcomed as a regular. Lovely inside and out. Good quality toilets. Ramp for disabled inside the entrance. Menu is down to earth and not fancy meals.

Easy to see why this lovely pub Is so busy and a waiting time ensued. Only to be expected seeing as its Easter weekend. Shall definitely return when next here

An older breeze block building, which would have been contemporary in its time. However, don't be fooled by the exterior. This place sits on the river and offers respite for those who have made the walk down from the village.A nice sized garden (no play equipment for children) with a lovely outlook. The occasional flypast of training planes, lots of passing boats, and wild birds in abundance. This makes it an interesting place to sit.Coffee isn't so great but the food is!Free carpark for those who didn't walk.

Had a lovely burger here, beautifully cooked, they do quite a nice range of food there, reasonably priced. A nice decking area to sit and watch the boats go by.

First place I was told to checkout while staying at Parkdean holiday camp. It was an amazing little pub , great views, especially when we watched the sunset. Definitely a place to visit considering the beers and food at the resort we were staying in are astronomical. The staff were very welcoming and very friendly a great place to have a few refreshments.

Great place to watch the sun go down, but service a little bit slow and my food choice had ran out when I went to order. However,I would come back here just for the views and drink and food were great.

Large seating area outside we sat inside with our dog as it was breezy. Haven't seen chicken on the bone & chips for a while. Nice big portion frendly service with music on screen (80s) took me back in time.

Whilst on holiday 2021 (end of July) me and my father took a walk to the Roman fortress.Walking a little further we were at the water's edge and decided to walk along it via a sort of man made path.Say the end we came to the Fisherman's Inn stopped off for a drink, as it would be reused not to!!Whilst the drinks are a tad expensive, it was alright. There are 3 outside sitting areas.1. Just a couple of benches and can smoke2. Lovely decked area screened off with glass sides and is a non-smoking area3. Another decked area with glass panels and is an area for smoking as well. All 3 are at the located at the back overlooking the river and scenery and directly next to eachother. They offer free WiFi also with the password wrote on a board. They offer food which I believe it's served all day, but I am not 💯 on this.We did not order any food when visiting, but from what we saw, the food looked good with generous portions. If you are in the area I would recommend popping in for a drink and food. They have a carpark that is easily accessible and hold a good number of cars and the also have a number of disabled parking as well.Definitely worth a visit.

Was such a surprise when we found this lovely pub next to canal. Food was proper pub food and looked all home made. Drinks were nice as well. But atmosphere that Sunday evening was unbelievable, they had a DJ as an entertainment, so all pub was singing along and dancing. Would definitely come again and bring my friends in.
