The Old Manor Cafe in Great Yarmouth

Great little cafe, a stones throw from the beach. Great food and service with a smile and merry quip.

Don't expect luxury surroundings but do expect good value meals and friendly attentive service. Great that places like this can retain their individuality in and age of Costa, Starbucks, McDonalds & co. So do pop in and support them if you're passing.

Good wholesome freshly cooked. Good atmosphere, owner extremely helpful.

A wonderful welcome for you and your dog. The food is tasty and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be going again!

It seems my review is a little out of the ordinary as others seem to really enjoy this cafe. I unfortunately did not have too great of an experience. My hash browns had a very unusual chemical taste to them and the egg was a bit sloppy. My fathers cod had a VERY long hair in it which is obviously not too appealing. I can't fault the rest of the food, but those issues do lower the tone as a whole.I would say it's quite possible I was unlucky, as the staff were very nice, and it's a cosy little environment. I hope I was a one-off unlucky customer.

Stopped today 4 bit of lunch with better half and little girl . Ken is absolutely brilliant and a dead lovely bloke . Keep up the good work and we definitely be back :)

Oct 21: A no nonsense café and a welcome find. It's not actually on the beach but in essence it's a beach café with the bacon rolls, sandwiches and other things one would expect to find near the sea. Helpful staff.

Breakfast for two. Cooked fresh to order. Served hot. Massive pot of tea. Owner is friendly & checks you are totally happy. Visitors dogs were welcomed.

Fantastic breakfast, best we've had in a long time, excellent quality, £7.50 for a large breakfast and well worth the price, lovely friendly staff, dog friendly too.Will certainly be heading back 😀

Amazing service, amazing food, all cooked to order. Chef is an amazing guy and goes out of his way to ensure all is the best of the best. Dog friendly, and dogs are treated like family.Atmosphere makes it feel like home!Highly recommended!!
