Staying up the road in a holiday let, been popping in for odd drink, but tonight we decided to go for food. You need to come and taste for yourself, the food was amazing!!! Portions where very generous, polite lovely staff! Highly recommend!!! Just a shame we are going home soon, we come back on holiday, we definitely will be having dinner again 😍

Friendly welcome. Drinks priced as per other local pubs. Doombar was nice. Food, portion sizes very good. Steak and ale pie was a little 'dark brown'. But the meat very tender and mash and gravy spot on. Wife's curry was tasty. Could do with less carbs (rice and naan smaller) and more of the actual curry. All still tasty though and reasonably priced. Kids meals were spot on. Both were full and enjoyed them.. in fact My wife finished off the daughters scampi. We would come back again, especially to taste the homemade pizzas.

We've co.e here a couple of times, the food is always good, the portions generous and the staff friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit while you're in Hopyon.

Lovely pub, lots of tables to sit outside and as the sun was out properly for the first time since we arrived in Hopton, very friendly bar staff very welcoming. We had a cheeky 4 pints after being to the shop!! The pub even had celebrities in it, the 'youngish'Joe Swash who was quite chatty..We even went back later for our tea and the food was fabulous.. I had the hunters chicken with chunky chips, others in our party had burger curry and ribs.Would visit again if up this way again as a really nice pub!

We wanted to get away from crowds in holiday park and this pub was just a few minutes walk, welcoming and with plenty of space outside. If you want to sit in the sun in the evening this is the place to go. Food was decent and vegi chilli had a nice kick to it.

Attempted to go to this establishment while on holiday in Great Yarmouth. Rang in advance and confirmed they had space for 6 people to eat in. Arrived and told to take a seat as all was table service. Waited a while before anyone took our drink order. I then had to flag a member of staff down (after 3 attempts) in order to get a food menu. A ratty piece of paper clearly well handled and not at all sanitised. The staff took our drink order wrong (we didn’t kick off just accepted the incorrect drink and paid). We then proceeded to wait for 45 minutes, trying to flag down members of staff to take our food order t no avail. We ended up leaving very unhappy with the poor service and feeling very very hungry! Will not be returning, and would definitely not recommend.
