Wrights Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

We was having a great time in Yarmouth then we went to this restaurant.We walked in and the staff asked us if we wanted a seat we said yes and sat in a booth.Staff then gave us a menu and asked us 4 times if we was eating we said just a latte for now, the waitress then went to the back of the counter and advised the manager or owner we wanted a drink.the manger or owner then came over and said we can have a drink but must drink this outside in the cold.The restaurant was not full as 4 family's at best.we was then advised we must order food to stay inside.All we wanted was a quick coffee and be on our way.I have never been asked to leave a restaurant as a paying customer we did not say anything out of order or challenge this discussion.I felt very uncomfortable and affended and will not be recommending or visiting this restaurant again.

Freezing cold in Great Yarmouth, but had a very warm welcome at this family run restaurant in the town centre. Really enjoyed our cream tea, the home made main meals, looked yummy, but we had already eaten. Chatted with the owner about dinner, unfortunately they only open Fri and Sat evening out of season, but he recommended two places, both outstanding. Thanks so much Mario.

Went to Wright's three years ago when visiting great yarmouth before covid had a curry and it was amazing. Went back today as it is the first time we have been able to visit and again it was well worth the wait. Myself and my partner like different food and everything is covered on the menu without being so extensive you nod off half way through. We were met by a really friendly waitress who did her job to perfection. The restaurant was clean and stylish. I had panini and chips and my partner had steak and kidney pud with veg. Both thoroughly enjoyed it with a couple of drinks. I would say the cost against the flavour is perfection. Everything was tasty and well cooked. Can't wait to revisit again in a few weeks time.

I was on Holliday break with my family and poped into this lovely place . We have had the best lunch . I wanted to try curry and it was amazing my husband tried liver and it was perfect too . We were impressed and had a great eating out experience as we don’t usually do it .Highly recommended. Also kids spaghetti was fresh and delicious . Will visit again next time .

Food was good quality and a lot of it, service very good, lovely atmosphere. Would recommend to others.

We dropped in for a light bite and coffee at lunch. Being March the restaurant was a very warm and inviting pit stop. The coffees were some of the best we've had down Yarmouth seafront (Cappuccino & Latte) so it's good to know for our next visit.We had good intentions for a savoury snack but were sidelined by their tempting cake selection (I went for a brownie which was rich and nutty).We'll for sure be back to try out their evening menu.

We had 3 different but delicious meals and the service and prices were very good. Nothing to complain about so I do recommend if you are looking for a really good lunch.

Tasty food a friendly well presented member of the team took our Order and was more than helpful.Fish and chips with lovely crisp batter.Delicious creamy lasagne with chips & salad.Fluffy well cooked Ham & Mushroom omelette.Good selection of food and drinks to choose from on the menu at reasonable prices.

I had a toasted cheese and ham toastie, it comes with chips and salad and was delicious. Big portion and fresh. We really enjoyed it.We had a latte and it was easily the nicest coffee in great Yarmouth.Highly recommend.
