Yankee Traveller in Great Yarmouth

Slow service, food was just OK but nothing special, one meal came out over 5 minutes after the other 3, and one of them was missing the chicken from the chicken and rib combo?? Only 2 vegetarian options (nut burger or fajitas) even the salad options all had meat in them. Didn't bother looking St the desserts because service was so slow.

Lovely food, great service....well worth a visit time and time again.Food very well presented and lots of it....fab place to go highly recommend X

Went here with a work colleague and had a great meal! Hot wings to start and burger for main, topped of with a shared dessert. We were looked after fantastically well by Lucy and Mia! Lovely decor and great vibe too.

Fantastic place, food was superb In both presentation and taste. Portions were large and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

A favourite of locals.Feel it needs some updating. When we ate there 2 weeks ago only 1 waitress. Family owners were also in resturant felt they could of helped with front of house or bills.Food mediocre these day as. Mint mountain was more of a hill.

Went there with a group of eight for my birthday. Booked 7:15At 8:45 I told them we would leave if our food wasn’t ready very soon.The food arrived completely wrong ( four of the eight ) and two people hadn’t got their drinks as there wasn’t enough glasses.I am absolutely gutted as this used to be my favourite eating establishment . My birthday , eight people, totally disappointing.Ended up leaving, going home and ordering a takeaway .

Awesome restaurant, really friendly staff. The garlic wings were amazing, I nearly had to fight my brothers for the last one! Burgers were great too! Reasonably priced, high quality and welcoming atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend. X

Really enjoyed our visit, the food was nice and the service was friendly. Great American diner experience... don't visit if you are on a diet!

DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER!!!! My first time in Great Yarmouth and me and partner googled places to eat. After seeing reviews we decided here (this is not on the see front). Walking to the restaurant did not fill me with confidence as most of the places on the street were run down, boarded up or closed. Upon arrival a very polite young girl served us and you could tell she was on here own bless working her socks off. Food was as expected and yes the portion sizes are huge (go there with an empty stomach). Would definitely recommend and will visit again when back. Can't help but think how well this place would do had it been on the sea front but then again that would take away the hideaway secret it is. Keep up the good work!!

Fantastic place, great American fast food in a realistic setting. Its a bit of a walk from the seafront but worth it nonetheless. Staff were extremely polite and helpful, food was very tasty and filling. Made me want to head back to the states!
