Cork & Skewer in Harlow

I was very hungry and I asked my partner if he could grab me something from here as I was yet to try this place. He got me chips, bbq chicken wrap and rice for himself. The chips were decent, fresh and hot however the wrap was awful. The chicken itself wasn’t bad.. it was the sauce they used, it tasted like it had 10 bags of sugar in it! Felt more like a dessert than dinner. Couldn’t eat it. In the end I had to remove the chicken from the wrap so I wouldn’t have so much of this sauce they used. Not even sure if it were bbq as tasted nothing like it. Another thing we weren’t happy with was he ordered the cheesy spicy chips and we only received plain chips which he only noticed once he had got home and opened the bag. On top of it, he said it had cost £18 something ! Which I found very pricy for what we had received. Overall I don’t think I would order from here again.

Looks okay taste badHalloumi taste really cheesy and weird it tasted more like mature chedda, I’m sorry but that’s the worse calamari I’ve ever had!!, all the meat is very bland over all very disappointed nicest things on the plate is the sweet potato fries and pitta bread .

Food is generally good and consistant. Up until now I have ordered from here 1-2 times per week as the food is fresh and healthy. Unfortunately this evening I had to endure a very unpleasant conversation while trying to place an order for delivery. I placed an order for an exact meal that I had last week which come to £13.95 but this week was £20.95 quite a considerable jump. When questioning the price I was told do you want the food or not! I then explained I do but why has the price gone up I paid £7 less last week? The lady taking the order carried on very unprofessionally telling me that she was not a liar and do I want the food or not. After speaking to the manager who did apologise albeit did not seem very sincere, she was quire happy to let go of the repeat custom that I have giving them from the moment they opened their doors some years back. Very disappointed as the food is nice. But after that phone call I will not be spending my money with them again. I hate to speak ill of a business especially when they rely on custom more than ever during covid but there was just no flavour in the meat and it was dry. You have to at least use some salt....I gave it to the dog.The bulgar wheat had no flavour either.Also the loukoumades.....if I'm polite I will say not good.As a Greek person I was really expecting a bit more taste.I would happily give some tips if they are required.So disappointing and will not order again unless things change drastically.

If you actually know what Greek food is don't go here . Extremely unauthentic Greek Food. We ordered meze for two. Both pork and chicken were extremely dry. So was lunza. The salad was good but really can you get salad wrong!?! Looked amazing and was so excited to have a Greek takeaway near me. Now I'm just disappointed and much lighter in pocket.

Best gyros in fact kebabs and meze I’ve tasted especially in Harlow been looking for a decent kebab place and find it, I would definitely recommend them

Amazing, I'm gluten intolerant and the staff always recommend what I can have or not, had one mis hap with beetroot in a jar, and they quickly got fresh for me , I fancied a mezze box and they told me what I couldn't have, this is the only take away I can be sure has my back and I've never felt ill from it.

A nice little restaurant in Harlow town centre. They have a delicious new spin off menu and reasonably priced lunch menu. The food all ways taste nice and fresh. I have never been disappointed by the food here.I have been here many of occasions my wife also enjoys the food here too. The main problem is the waiting time for your food. Don't expect a quick service. I had to wait nearly an hour for my food.The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Nicely decorated, good staff and good food. Rice and bulgar wheat could have been nicer (slightly undercooked in my opinion) but all in all a good visit. I would recommend this restaurant

I love this place and aways eat here when in Harlow on business. The food is very good and is a Mediterranean/Greek style menu, and is always very well presented and fresh as. See the pic for yourself. Mini Mezze with Lamb kebab £13.95 what's not to like.
