The Hare in Harlow

We visited it for the first time. Our friends invited us to eat at their pub and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was very nice, the staff very friendly and the food was uniquely delicious. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic pub... Outside seating.. great beer and 2 4 1 on food with a nice selection... Fish and chips are a must...also very reasonable prices.

Service really poor, wait for orders to be taken, table not cleared. Never once asked " is everything ok with your food, can I get some more drinks for you". Food was ok though but I wont be returning

Absolutely fantastic all round. A wonderful warm welcome from the staff. Excellently quick service and the most amazing food I have had in a long time in a pub. The team at the Hare really know how to look after their customers.

Been visiting the Hare for many years and again they impressed with our last visit. They have decorated and the new look is lovely. Had four different meals and all were high standard. Four of us ate and drunk and was not expensive due to the 2for1 deal. Would highly recommend

First time here with our 4 dance friends. Eat out regular on Wednesday & this has been one of best around Harlow so far. Good service , excellent food, well presented in a reasonable time. Good comfortable seating.& to top it off 2 for one on pub classics. Pre booked for next week.Highly recommended.

I enjoyed a lovely family meal here, the pub is clean, the loos are clean, and the staff were very lovely. We all ordered, and prices were very good and the food was nice, pub food standard. We have been using this pub for years, and will continue to do so. There was plenty of hand sanitiser for those who wish to use it. Very lovely

Nice pub, friendly staff but the roast dinners are disappointing. On paper the place should be filled to the rafters but the over done broccoli, non crispy potatoes really let it down. The cabbage is really nice and the gravy is good.Hoping they can turn the roast dinners around as people are happy to travel miles for a decent one.

There seems a shortage of decent pubs in the area. This seems to be the best of a bad bunch. Had bottled beer, so can't comment on the beer quality and the food was mediocre. The attached photo was meant to be a 10oz rump steak
