Good as Toby carvery's go.Service excellent and friendly. Food of reasonable quality, reasonable value for money. However the cleaning of the restaurant needs improvement on ongoing spillage ---- food on the carpet under the next table to ours was a bit off putting.

Lovely food as usual. However, there needs to be a more detailed effort to clean the place. The plates were not washed properly and there were cobwebs on the wall behind me. There was also a lot of dust on the light fitting by my table.

Really nice Sunday carvery all you can eat buffet. We arrived at 12:30 and it soon started to fill up quickly. I'd recommend reserving a table for the pick times at the weekend. This carvery shares a car park with a hotel , several shops and Harlow train station. So parking is the one thing that lets it down really. Otherwise I'd have given 5 stars. Will be going back soon.

Was very busy as they had 50%off email vouchers. I made sure we booked knowing it would be busy and we were seated straight away. Obviously busy queuing to get food but it went down quite quickly. Food was lovely as always and staff were very nice and helpful.

I was burnt due to staff negligence. Disgusting staff attitude. No First Aider, no manager, no apology, no ACCIDENT BOOK which is required by law! There was no chef (as usual), waited 20 minutes for a waitress and it was not busy - had to go and find one who was just not bothered. The food was too far at the rear and utensils under hot lights where the food should have been. I got burnt quite badly on my hand. Blistered. By the time someone got water 5/6 minutes later, the damage was done. This branch has really gone down hill recently and this is the final straw. Others have told me the same thing. None of us are

From the beginning of our first visit to Harlow Toby. We were told there will be no availability for over 90 minutes but best to book. So we did for 90minutes time. Problem no:1We waited in the bar for our booking only to hear and see other couples arrive and wait at the bar for a short time. Then they were seated within 10-15 minutes of arriving.I overheard one couple state that they hadn't booked and expected to wait over an hour.I spoke to the manager only to be told that there were 8 other couples ahead of us.This doesn't take into account several tables that remained empty whilst we waited at the bar.We were then seated 15 minutes earlier than our booking at a table that had been less than 2metres from us that had been empty for the past 60+ mins. We were told that there had been a cancellation 🤣Problem no:2. The food 😳 well Toby Carvery food has gone down a very steep hill since my last visitProblem no:3 the gin glass my wife had drank from. We noticed right at the end that there was red lipstick marks on it and my wife was not wearing red lipstick (neither was I)

My first experience here was flat. We had just missed their breakfast, so we ordered from the menu... it wasn't all that. It was an expensive experiment plus the drinks were luke-warm and got pretty cold quickly.I was also quite disappointed at the pigs in blankets which attracted me to the restaurant in the first place! They were much smaller and cost more to have sauces in them. I felt they could assisted in explaining what to expect with the meals. My second experience was much better with their all-you-eat breakfast (it was right beside my accommodation). I could pick the meals I was familiar with and also try new ones without the added costs incase I didn't like them. Their potatoes and bacon mix was heavenly! Sausages were inviting and delicious. And their fried eggs were sunshine 🌞.Drinks were still luke-warm even when I asked to make it hot - maybe it's a policy there.Overall, it's a great place to have a lovely breakfast and the ambience is calming.
