Aksular Restaurant in Hertsmere

Awesome value, excellent food and friendly staff. Love this place...Been coming here since it opened and they never disappoint !Been to two other Turkish restaurants in the last fortnight and had pretty much the same thing with same number of people. Here it's the best food and £10 per head cheaper.I have decided not to bother trying other places, this is the best... Why bother with the cost and disappointment...Am in Turkey writing this update. Had meals out and still rate Aksular on taste, quality and price.

Great food and plenty of it. Staff very friendly and attentive. Good value for money too. Would recommend.

Ordered from here before, but today was awful chicken and lamb inedible tasted liked it had been kept warm for days! Aside from that it was grizzle and fat. £80 for a meal we basically had to throw away, even the vegetarian amongst us said their food tastes 'days old' very sad gone downhill badly will never order from them again. Two stars are for their manner and politeness can't fault that

The food is excellent and so reasonably priced, the staff are very friendly to,you have a beautiful salad pita bread and dips they bring out before your meal it is fantastic

Nice and tasty food friendly staff

Gorgeous meal in a lovely atmosphere with very friendly, professional and attentive staff. Fair prices and generous portions. The chicken was tender, tasty and perfectly accompanied with the rice or cous cous. Kids meal was good size and effort had been made to prepare and present. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a really nice meal at this restaurant. The food menu has some amazing dishes on it so it's hard to choose!I went for the mixed doner in the end, I couldn't resist. Both the chicken and the lamb were very tasty. There were some lovely crispy bits served up which were unreal. As usual in a Turkish Restaurant we ordered too much to eat, but you have to sample a lot.The staff were really friendly and helpful. It wasn't too busy as it was a Monday early evening but I'm sure this place fills up during the busier evenings of the week.

This is hands down the best Turkish restaurant that we have been to. Exceptional customer service; great food, and even better staff. This place truly puts the ‘big’ restaurant’s to shame and really looks after their customers.

A very nice Turkish restaurant on the high street of Potters Bar. They have a wide variety of kebabs but also cold and hot starters, special Turkish meals and fish meals. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff is friendly. Prices are accessible and the quality of the food is really good (also portions are very big). Definitely will come back again.
