i was there for a family event, the owner was the funniest guy ever. the food and drinks were great, the place's vibe was amazing. great experience overall.

Lovely, lively atmosphere. Friendly staff, great menu. Our first family visit to Blue Check today, even though very busy, the staff were patient and helpful, they took time to go through items with our children when choosing their food. We didn't feel rushed at all and time between courses was spot on.The food was great, everyone very much enjoyed their selection, and portions are generous.We'll definitely return for more!

We had our sons function at the Blue Check last weekend. What a wonderful place to have had it. David & his team were fantastic, a pleasure to deal with .The food was lovely & plentiful, drinks were delicious & such a variety. The room looked great too. We couldn’t recommend The Blue Check restaurant highly enough. Thank you so much David & his team.

Very good food, generous portions and a very friendly welcoming atmosphere from the owners.Food out in a good time considering a very large party and "nearly" all out together, which wouldn't normally expect in a large party with such different selections.Worth the small wait...all extremely well cooked, understand cannot maybe keep all piping hot but not really an issue considering everything... and all courses very much enjoyed.Have been before and it was a fitting evening celebrating my friend's very special day...and will go again! I just didn't get a chance to get up and dance!!!Keep it up guys...

A very comfortable atmosphere with our group. Wonderful live entertainment by a sold singer who sang group favourites of their time.

David and his team are an asset to our village and the wider community. He is one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever met and he leads a team who genuinely care about their customers. Food is super and very reasonably priced. I have been a customer for many years and still marvel at his energy and enthusiasm for what can be a very challenging environment ,especially under the current circumstances. Top marks!

Went here for my work Christmas Party. Very spacious place with large tables for big groups. The service was very good from all the waiters. A DJ plays music from about 10pm till close. Nice little dance floor and a full bar. Food was very tasty and also caters for vegeterians.

Family party, so set menu but ample choices. No one was disappointed by their choice of food. Very attentive staff who went out their way to look after the 2-year old with us. Shame it's a bit far for us to pop in to.

Went here for a 70th birthday party, it a had modern décor with a movie theme, staff greeted us with bucks fizz and snacks at the door, they were very friendly and professional throughout the 3 course meal, I had prawn cocktail to start, lamb knuckle for mains and apple tart for pudding, all three courses were very nice especially the lamb which was lovely and tender and apple tart with custard was hot and delicious. Was served coffee at the end. All in all a very pleasant experience.
