Very nice hotel with clean and modern rooms, also good gym and swimming facilities. Friendly atmosphere and caring staff. Nice selection of food in the pub, with friendly staff. Will definitely come back! Thanks for hosting us! :)

Outstanding rooms comfortable beds. Forever short of staff. Not suitable for families, guests mostly all hard as nails, quite rough and boisterous road construction workers, bar and restaurant always flooded with non-residential visitors. The sign above reception (pic uploaded) states 'paradise can wait' which is an interesting way to welcome guests.

Great location. Very friendly staff. Nice bar area serving great food. Room was perfect and a good choice and nice breakfast. Also good facilities and I enjoy using the pool , whirlpool, sauna and steam room. The gym was also really well equipped. I have enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly. Breakfast was typical full English or croissant or toast with jam or marmalade. As much tea, orange juice and coffee as you like. Ordered poached egg on toast unfortunately the egg was overcooked. Definitely would stay here again. Were given a day pass for the gym and pool, lovely.

Manager was lovely, gave my friends a free hot chocolate, room was lovely too, bed was clean and pillows were comfortable. The whole team is very nice and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely look in coming back if I visit Watford again.

Grill was to die for!My Husband and I own a Pub and Grill. And we have to say, this was far better than ours!!! I have never tasted anything quite like it. We will come back down especially for this treat!Overall would highly recommend. Staff went above and beyond!! Nice little retreat to get away and unwind! Thanks guys!

The most stupendous Pub and Grill!Stayed here a couple of nights for a business trip. I was delighted by the Pub and Grill after a long day at work!The stay as a whole was impeccable. Clean and tidy rooms. Highly attentive staff and management. Nothing was too much to ask for! Would definitely recommend for those looking for a luxury stay!

A lovely night away in a great hotel. The room was very modern and clean. A good choice of breakfast and the stuff very friendly and helpful. I never used the swimming pool, spa or gym on this visit but definitely plan on experiencing a spa day here soon.

We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay . Facilities are great(swimming pool, sauna , jacuzzi , gym etc.) and customer service is really good. Big THANK YOU to Stevy for his professionalism, he made us feel like home .The only thing I was a bit disappointed is the breakfast . They need more variety and also it could have been great to have the choice of having an omelette or fried egg. we also had to wait 20min if not more to have scrambled eggs and get served. I assumed its due to Christmas there were short on staff.

A modern hotel, but maybe too modern for the location.- Only one bus gets there, every 30 minutes, and it's not 24h.The rooms are cozy, but the halls and public spaces are not.- One Starbucks and one bar with only a fast-food offer (room service included)- the shared office and gym are great open spaces, but the hotel lacks a social aspect.- it feels as if you need to be a busy person to visit the Village; the facilities are not set for leisure.
