Buffett Palace in Hertsmere

i came here for a nice bit of grub with a friend of mine. Im embarassed to call that a buffet, was about 4 containers with food in and seems like it had been left out for a few hours. Service was good on the other hand.

I was in for lunch to day my husband was eating icecream half way then gust turn with spoon and there was blue bottle fly at bottom I told her check your video she didnt even say sorry never no more I'd go eat in there I got photos as well

Was clean, service was good and they did keep topping up the buffet but the actual food was a poor imitation of chinese food. It just did not taste like a chinese, most of the dishes were a bit bland. If they made the food better chinese food then it would be a good place.

My partner and I were at the buffet for the first time yesterday. We were disappointed because the containers had leftovers or many things were missing. I understand that in 2 hours they would close but such things should not happen since the customer pays £ 13.50. Little choice compared to places in the center of London for a not much higher price.Generally, the food is tasty, but sometimes too cold and too greasy.

Visited here last Friday night for my sisters birthday . There was 4 of us , It was rubbish . There was hardley any food , we had to ask for things to be replaced . They wasn't topping up the food quickly . We had to ask if they was cooking more food . Redicules drink prices . £2.50 for a can of coke?Will not return .

Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever wasted my money on. Soup was lukewarm at best, many dishes missing or had the last unappealing dregs left. Truly awful.

Help yourself, eat as much as you want chinese. A good selection of starters, and mains. For me they do the best chicken wings. Many of your usual favourite dishes. From soup, ducks in pancakes, and an ice cream to finish.

Food has always been lovely, when you can get it . Buffet is supposed to mean you have a choice of a few foods. We have to continuously ask for food as there is never anything there , then you are asked “how many chicken balls do you want” it’s a buffet , so even if I wanted 3 chicken balls, I am sure someone else will want some too. New lady comes across very rude too, poor customer services. I will continue to come here due to the food being so nice though .

Do not eat here! Im not surprised the place was empty. The food had mostly run out and everything was really dry because it had been sat there for ages. The sauce was all covered in a layer of skin. I paid £50 for 3 people to eat and a can of coke each. I had a bit of food on my plate and asked for a container to bring it home and she tried to charge me an extra £6.50, you would think they would be a bit more flexible considering that we were the only customers in there but no 👎

They make the food in small batches so it is fresh. which is good. stay are friendly and full of locals. the prawn toast was really good and the crispy chicken balls. i think they could improve on the spring rolls. but all in all four £6.50, excellent value
