Buono Italian Cafe in Hertsmere

Unfortunately since Covid we have just had takeaway. Still my favorite. A real taste of Italy with a very wide menu. (Where else can you get a Canoli?). When we could eat in the atmosphere in this small intimate restaurant is lovely, the service good & friendly and the food wonderful.

I love the really authentic Italian food served here!

Enjoyed several wonderful lunches at this High Street Italian bistro! We were visiting from Israel, and this was a very convenient location in Bushey.Great food, warm/friendly service, reasonable prices! Highly recommend, and look forward to dining here again!

The carbonara was a he worst I have ever had if the chef is a Italy he should be a shamed his wife was lovely the garlic bread was good

Excellent punctual Uber Eats delivery of an Arrabiata Linguine Gamberi. Freshly cooked, piping hot and very good portion. Great value with a coupon we’d received too!

We had a fabulous dinner. Ann’s risotto was delicious - wholesome, well cooked, great flavours and good value for money. The garlic bread was yum. The service was top class

Awful Italian foodWe ordered the Aubergine Parmigiana, Prawn Linguine and Tiramasui. Unfortunately, all three were the worst I have ever had .the Aubergine Parmigiana - was not fresh - the aubergine was like tough leather unable to eat. Possibly not cooked enough and frozen . Sauce was fine but pretty tasteless.Pasta was tasteless and again not fresh - A small black short hair was found in the food !Tiramisus - was the worst I have ever had . Definately frozen and when we pressedOn the sponge water was coming out of it . Dreadful Normally I don’t like to give bad reviews and put it a one off but this restaurant need to start tasting and looking at what they are delivering. How they can charge these prices £35 for this and serve up food like this .Regrettably I would definately NOT recommend food from here . I called the restaurant and their defence was that noone had complained before . Being a pretty good cook myself , most definately this food is not fresh and out of the freezer . I had to do this review as Indont want others wasting their money ! Worst Uber eats order ever !

All good things come in small packages. This rule applies 100% to this restaurant.The food is authentic Italian.Neapolitan style Pizza, Fungi Risotto 😘, Penne Pesto, Garlic bread & Parmigiana Riggatoni - all taste like the food you’d get in Italy.Definitely a repeat customer. Well done Chef 🏆
