Chikayan in Hertsmere

3 of us went sat 18 June 2022, we used to go all the time. Certainly won’t be returning. The food was awful, service was really bad and the staff were very rude. Other tables were complaining too.Avoid!!!

Really good quality and flavour - loved the tofu and broccoli dishes, crispy noodles were perfect!

Been there a few years ago and was ok.Went there tonight and it was diabolical!!Everything was stone cold, chicken satay was just fried chicken fat. Everything was tasteless. Every table I noticed had a complaint. 2 other tables walked out. We walked out after just 3 of the starters from the eat as much as you like menu.Will never ever go back.

Veggie dish was really disappointing. Tinned gluten chucked in to sauce. Maybe it's better for meat eaters.

This is the first time I have had a take-away here and the food was exceptional. I really like the Chow Mein with the bean sprouts as this was thinner noodles and soft beans sprouts so I was pleasantly surprised. I had the vegetarian "crispy duck" pancakes and the Chilli Asparagus (apattizer). All very tasty and I will certainly be ordering or eating in from here again.

Good variety, but eat as much as you can prices have gone up by £5, good service 👍

A favourite for ever. Way more deliciously authentic than most places nearby and fabulous tasty choices. I adore the Cantonese crispy noodle and banana fritters. (Naughty treat!) I popped in to get the 10% collection discount, 25% if you go over £20.. and ordered a bubble tea. The menu for which, I couldn't find online, so here it is. Just top quality Chinese.

I have only tried their take away, food is good and portions very decent. Looking forward to a dine in experience.

Food was lovely and very tasty..We had the set menu at £17.00pp with a good selection.Really good food. Very enjoyable.....Will go again.
