Its a very good Chinese restaurant and take away and the food is tasty

Been here many times, he's raised prices which is fine. But now won't let me pay on card until I pay over £12, then proceeded to shout at me. Order from somewhere else.

Had a wonderful meal from China house last night for my birthday. Absolutely fantastic. The crispy duck was especially tasty, very little oil and all flavour. A great takeaway!

Don’t get takeaways very often but fancied a Chinese, and it was delicious. Chicken n cashew nuts, beef in black bean, spare ribs, Singapore noodles, and crispy pork balls.. what a feast... and they now DELIVER YOUR FOOD...whoopee fantastic! Used to be bone of contention when you had to go and collect it!

The worst.Owner is EXTREMELY RUDE and sounds like he's making up prices and minimum order rules as he goes along.After ordering in person and paying the minimum via card (£12 in a post covid world! So much for no cash handling), I went back to collect only to be told my card was declined (no reason it should have been, plus why did he wait to tell me??) - and that if I wanted "home made chilli oil" (as if), its £2.50. What!Needless to say I said "BYEE! and told him to keep his noodles.As a small business owner myself, I've seen this owner talking to other people this way - no wonder this place is always empty. 3.6 is waay too high a rating for this place.

Delivered after an hour and half for 2 simple items. I ordered dim sums and received the something that can be the worst version of dim sums, in fact, they were not. They were drenched in oil. The egg fried rice hardly had any egg in it. I was just some rice and sauces. Overall so bad I bothered writing a review which I never do.

Good food. Good price. Owner is lovely. Curry sauce was not the best though.

Just tried to order some food. Even though it was pretty average last week, it's late, and I haven't eaten.So I place the order over the phone. I'm told there is a new menu, and the prices have gone up. Fair enough. I'm then told the minimum order for delivery has also gone up to £15.00. I ask how much my order comes to, and I'm told it comes to £14.70, and I need to order something else !Well I didn't want anything else, and said I would pay the £15.00 regardless. This was unacceptable to the owner, who insisted I would have to order another dish !So I cancelled the order, somewhat bemused by their attitude, having offered to pay their minimum.Totally idiotic !

Delivery driver was extremely late. Before he eventually found my address he had phoned me to ask for directions to my house which is really near China House. Then when he arrived he left me with a wrong order altogether. I realised that after he left which meant I had to phone the place to ask for an explanation. They refused to offer me a refund to compensate me for what happened. They only offered to cook the food I ordered (hours before...) and wait for it again. I was not happy with this approach. I will not be their customer in the future. I am furious.

Absolutely the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Everything is just terrible. £26.50 wasted.Have put most of it in the bin. Even the prawn crackers are stale. Other reviews say it's a good take away restaurant. They must have been drunk as a lord rate this as good. I've given it one star just so it shows up on the review . You have ripped me off.
