Curry Garden in Hertsmere

Ordered from this restaurant last night and I must say the food was very tasty and authentic. I'm surprised to see others had bad experiences however we really enjoyed. Thank you curry garden!

I ordered a lamb curry and have had food poisoning, there was hardly any meat in the dish and it tasted old . Please do not eat from this place.

I normally get our curry from somewhere else but thought we'd try here. I wish we hadn't! I have never had such a bland, tasteless biryani & the side curry was so greasy! I actually had to sieve it! Just really awful! I'll never eat anything from them again. The picture shows how oily it was

Stay clear! My flat mate recently placed an order through uber eats with this restaurant. We were a bit apprensive in ordering after reading through some of the reviews, however as we noticed the restaurants response informing of the recent change in ownership, with the benefit of doubt we decided to give it a go. We ordered nann, two curry dishes and some poppadoms, the nann arrived cold, the poppadoms were OK and the curry dishes were overly oily and had a horrible flavour and bitter aftertaste. The curry dishes were not only oily but also watered down. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and would advise to stay clear.

I love my Indian food but I don't think I've tasted anything so rank in my life.The popadoms tasted like they were fried in a very old oil, they stank and tasted really bitter.The chicken tikka masala sauce didn't taste like curry at all, it tased like some water down vegetable sauce, chicken in the sauce tasted really plane.My mrs chicken korma sauce tasted like sugar with hint of coconut, couldn't taste korma sauce at all.We didn't even bother eating it.The worst thing was when I rang to complain, the manager has told me that that's how chicken tikka masala and korma tastes like.Will never order from this place again, the food was awful.

Always fast, friendly and attentive to our requirements. Our favourite curry delivery service in the area. Great mix of flavours. Particularly recommend the excellent Chicken Tika

Came to visit ARTA 2018 regional finalist in East Anglia to taste their food.Chicken tikka biryani was simply delicious.New team done excellent job

prawn birani was absolutely amazing and I enjoy with the mint sauce.the chicken tikka was cooked very well and the wrap was spicy which is something I always prefer.I like the workers wife.king prawn was delicious.

Extremely rude man at this takeaway. I took myself up to the takeaway to pick up my order as when l have previously asked for a delivery they often arrived so much later than the given time. My order came to £15.35 which meant that l could have 10% off my bill given that l ordered over the £15 and was picking it up but it wasn't offered to me. When l asked for it, mainly out of principal,l was told that l couldn't have the discount as it would reduce my bill taking it under the £15. I advised him that l should still get the discount but he refused. I told him that l would report him to trading standards for false advertising and told him to keep his food and for him to return my money back. Quite honestly he left a bad taste in my mouth! I noticed that the takeaway was empty and the phone wasn't ringing; enough said!!!
