Divan in Hertsmere

I’ve gone here every few months for years now, the portions are good and it’s good value for money, the staff are hard workers and friendly. I would recommend to everyone.

Was in Borehamwood and could smell the meats cooking from the high street so had to check it out. Upon entering I was greeted by a very attentive and friendly waiter. Food was good, it is cooked on the counter through a see-through screen so everyone can see the food cooking. I was very impressed with the lamb meatballs, would highly recommend them. Next time I am in the area, I would definitely visit again.

I was told about this restaurant by a friend . I went to check it out. It was a very busy restaurant with lots of parties going on. They had only one waiter taking orders for everyone; everything felt a bit rushed to get our orders in. When ordering food, we got a few sharing platters we asked a few times for some bread so that we could finish our starts that took 20 minutes, and I asked about 4 times for it. I ordered the main, which was nice but forgot some of our dishes

Went early Eve on Friday. Parking can be painful but restrictions end at 6.30pm. Food was tasty with a good variety of vegetarian options. Staff were very welcoming as well.

I have eaten at Divan many times and have never been disappointed and I now live on the turquoise coast in Turkey and the food at Divan is way better than you can find almost anywhere in our town which is Kalkan.

Fantastic service.Food was amazing. It was a delivery as we are staying in a nearby hotel and sauces were forgotten and was no trouble to the staff who delivered within 10 minutes just for that.Really really impressed will be eating in next time!Thanks so much

Fresh tasty food. Juicy grilled chicken. A bit pricy but that’s for the location, right opposite the train station. The rice portion is much less than the amount of meat, should be half and half to be balanced.

Delicious, freshly grilled kebabs! Chicken kebab is my favourite. Their tarama is also a particular favourite of mine. I have been going there for years and keep going back. Staff are friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend!

Had a lovely lunch at Divan. The food is delicious and the waiting staff friendly and helpful. We got a discount on the total bill as it was lunchtime. I think it might have been 20 or 25%.

Another visit to Divan. We come here quite often when visiting our daughter In Borehamwood. Food excellent as usual, I can never finish my meal as portions are quite big. Friendly staff and good service.
