Eli's Pizza in Hertsmere

Best pizza in the area by a long way, we are not a kosher / jewish house but still prefer to order here. Consistently good food and friendly service. Fast delivery outside peak times, and a really good collection deal.Only consideration I would suggest is opening an hour later.There’s some reviews below with photo’s that don’t look like Eli’s pizza. And the majority of bad reviews don’t have names on them, anonymous accounts.

Ordered 8 XL pizzas for a birthday party. The pizzas were delivered on time, hot and tasted great. The kids (and adults) loved it. Thanks for the great pizza!

Waited over 10 minutes on the phone. No replies to calls or even an email. When you get this and if I ever actually recieve my order, IM NOT PAYING. Rubbish service.

Ordered from here a 4 cheese pizza with extra cheese. Some parts of the pizza was completely bare. Just base. It also came slightly folded in the middle and the cheese all stuck on one slice. The whole thing was soggy. An absolute joke. Rip off and noone answered the phone. Will never from there ever again. Effing rip off and disgusting.

Possibly the worst pizza I've ever tried. Their Florentine pizza is supposed to have a softly baked egg on top, which is cooked on the pizza. What I received was a raw egg sitting glutinously on top of a thin crust pizza. It was so raw the yolk had slid off the pizza onto the cardboard box and the uncooked raw white sat like some ghastly science project. I actually thought I was going to throw up. No manager there, just a very young sounding girl who offered to make another pizza. I can almost see the pizza place from the house, I just couldn't get out of the house at that time. It took 45 mins to deliver. Meanwhile the rest of the family got on with eating their food which was nice. Highly unimpressed and not worth the money

Don't believe all you read - how these guys got 4.6 stars is beyond me!We ordered the spinach ravioli in tomato sauce on Wednesday and received a yucky sweet potato ravioli instead. We phoned the restaurant and they said 'oh yeah, well we only had sweet potato today' In which case they should have rejected our order.Today we called the restaurant before placing our order to check and they had the spinach ravioli in tomato sauce. They said they did, and we duly placed our order.This time we received spinach ravioli in an nasty strong mushroom beige sauce and no sign of the tomato sauce described on the menu.We called the restaurant again and told them what had happened. Their response was 'you ordered through deliveroo, you have to phone them to get a credit note!' Seriously?!Terrible customer service - we gave them every opportunity to sort this out and they just weren't interested.You cannot rely on this menu or on the staff to sort things out when it will inevitably go wrong.

Ordered online. Email confirmation said 50 minutes - 1 hour. Phoned after 1 hour 10 minutes when the food hadn't come and they hadn't started making the food yet. Unbelievably bad service - especially when ordering for family with children.EDIT AFTER RESPONSE FROM THE SHOP.Eli's apologised and sent us a free pizza and chips to say sorry. The pizza was really delicious! They explained that the food was almost ready but there was some miscommunication. Over an hour is still a very long time to wait and I would prefer that if the restaurant can't fulfil my order then they shouldnt accept it in the first place. But the pizza is good! So I'll give them one more chance!

Best pizza I've ever had. Great vibes, great drinks. Try the Florentine style pizza, my favorite.
