Esha Tandoori in Hertsmere

I had a meal from on Friday night which was one chicken madraz and one chicken tikka masala and one naan bread and sheek kebab.The sheek kebab tasted so horrible I have never tasted a sheek kebab ever so bad like this before.When I opened the container it smelt so bad.The sheek kebab is meant to be strong however this one was very soft and felt gritty and felt like there was little little balls falling offPlease improve if you can because this restaurant is local to me.

Delivery driver refused to deliver to the flat whilst being unbelievably rude.

The Lamb vindaloo tasted like a paste of chili powder, and the mutton chops and paneer tikka were quite tasteless and dry. The kebab was mediocre, and the chicken curry was ok.I would avoid eating here, and would not recommend it.

I am writing my review here because they deleted it from just eat. We have ordered a number of times from esha but today was terrible. My curry was just tomato sauce with undercooked onions and chilli powder. I love curry but this was really bad. The chicken was tough. They food came 15 mins early and maybe they rushed it. The nan bread was tiny and undercooked. The chutneys for the popadums were missing. Even though the food came quickly it was cold and soggy. For the price we paid we won’t risk getting a bad meal again so we won’t be back.

Ordered butter chicken and first time I had such a sweet butter chicken .How butter chicken can be so sugary .. could not eat it at all

The food and customer service was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed it. They made a slight error on our order and corrected it very quickly. Portion sizes are good too and the curries were filled with meat. I would order from here again!

Food was ok but the one star is for the delivery driver trying to scam me out of £20. He knocked on my door telling me it was twenty pounds short even after I counted it in front of him. I asked him to search his pockets to make sure he checked them properly but he was adamant it wasn't there. So I rang the shop to speak to his manager and miraculously he found it in his pocket as I was speaking to said manager. Wont be getting from there again

Absolutely awful service. We have ordered from Esha for many years but tonight they had no idea at all what they were doing. I ordered my food which had to be repeated back 3 times. Kept on telling me to hold on while he was having a 3 way conversation Apparently he was taking another order online so was completely distracted. I asked were they able to deliver in 30 mins said no later than 50 mins. Phoned 50 mins later as no order. Said it should be with us few mins. 15 mins later chased again and said they had lost our order. Had no knowledge of our address and had no order. We then ordered from another local curry house within 20 mins, sorted. Esha continued to keep on phoning after they had said they had no order and made us wait an hour and 30 mins after they messed up and kept on asking for our address after they had already confirmed our name and address and tel number earlier!!!!! Rubbish service, will never order from them again. They have no idea! My advice don't bother if u want fast food takeaway you be left feeling hungry and very frustrated

Had two deliveries from here so far and they've both been lovely. Dishes have been as they should be and generous, delivered on time and piping hot. Will continue to be my first choice for an Indian takeaway locally.
