We had an amazing family get together of 37 people on Saturday evening at Bhageecha. All of the dishes (we had a pre chosen set menu) tasted delicious, were presented well, not oily and the portions sizes were super generous, that whilst they could have been refilled they were so generous we hardly needed refilling. The service was brilliant, Akshay and his team worked hard to ensure all our needs were met food and drinks wise which probably wasn’t easy as we kept moving around! The team also worked hard to ensure the children were happy with their food (mix of English and Indian food) and timings which was great and meant parents could relax. The decor and interior is simply stunning and lends itself to its name Bhageecha so well and all of my guests were very happy with the side garden room we were in - perfect for our occasion.Prior to the event, I had chosen some veg and non veg set menus and worked with Angela in reservations before the event to ensure that everything ran smoothly - all my requests were accommodated, which we really appreciate.I highly recommend it for large group parties as well as dining in smaller numbers as the a la carte menu is also delicious (have tried that before too).Everyone had such a fantastic time and we will definitely be back. I came to Bhageecha restaurant two days ago from East Ham. I was recommended by one of my friend and I must say my family have amazing time there. We met Mr Patel very friendly manager and great customer service provided by entire staff. I recommend all my friends and one request to owner that please open one more branch in East Ham. Saturday 13.00My first meal out since the beginning of Covid.When I arrived at 13.00 I was asked "have you booked a table". I thought are they nuts , but in fact the restaurant was full bar a couple of tables which we had one. The staff where very friendly.I thought it was expensive to start with( I had ordered lamb) , but the chunks of lamb were massive, the sauce delicious.The coconut ice cream is amazing.There is a good selection of nonalcoholic cocktails, the mint one was lovely.Very good coffee.Overall a great experience, it was worth the price.

Almost a week back, had booked a table (outside area) through open table for 4 of us. We had been there on time (1.30pm) only to find that a massive birthday party was going on and the outside area is being used for serving drinks and eating by the guests attending the birthday party. We were the only guests seated outside. We had a choice to walk away from the restaurant, but chose not to do so as we didn’t have plan B and also we had travelled for almost an hour to reach the restaurant. Our biggest grouse with the hotel management is that they could have called us up early enough and indicated about the party allowing us to decide whether to go ahead or not. Interesting when paying the bill, the lady mentioned to me that had we been to the restaurant yesterday, it would have been fine as there was no crowd (how nice!!!)From service standpoint, the staff were very courteous. We ordered vegetarian food, but felt that the choices were slightly limited. Food was ok nothing extraordinary.To conclude, overall experience was not that great, will think twice twice before visiting again.(To add to this, it looks like the person at the restaurant who reviewed our booking, did not update in their system (or open table) that we have honoured our booking. We got email from open table telling us that they are sorry that we could not visit Bageecha…). Well this rounds up our day.

I am not saying it was the best taste of indian which I’ve ever had. They do not have that strong indian taste what I like, but staff is nice, prices r reasonable, place is nice and tidy. Go for a nice lamb.

Fantastic service, everyone from the waiting staff, management to the Head Chef, they all visited our table to ensure everything was well and as per our taste.They accommodated our need for a table for two with a pram on a Friday night, the restaurant is well laid out and spacious. Lots of parking.Finally, the food was delicious, lots of choice. We will be returning!

This restaurant is now where The Fisheries pub used to be, by the reservoir.It was my first time visiting and was really impressed by the amazing decor and atmosphere of the place. It's clear to see they have really invested a lot of time and effort to ensure an amazing dining experience.Saying that, ours didn't get off to be best of starts. We waited quite a while for someone to take our drinks order, and when we ordered some plain and spicy poppadoms, only plain arrived with no plates, which we then had to ask for.From that point onwards, however, the service really improved and staff were great, and the food was absolutely delicious!! The palenta chips were so tasty. Main courses included lamb rojanjosh (best I've tasted in a while) and the chicken dansak with a healthy portion of pilau rice (which I took home as there was so much left!).We were there for my birthday, so it was a nice touch at the end with my 'happy birthday' dessert.All my friends loved the place, so if you love good quality Indian food (which is at the higher end price wise), and not been yet, treat yourself. 😊

The perfect restaurant! I am pleased with the amazing food and extremely helpful staff. The restaurant itself has a great environment and ambience, it is very modern, yet elegant, and is very well decorated. The food was flavourful and fresh and arrived fairly quickly, the meat that was also served was very nice and tender - my knife just slid right through it. The staff were also very helpful, friendly and kind. It is a lovely place to go with your friends or family to have a great experience, I would recommend going here to enjoy delightful, authentic Indian food!

Bagheecha is a nice and pleasant discovery. Honestly I didn’t know it was at this lovely location next to Aldenham farm. The food is tasty and very delicious. It is presented nicely too and that adds to the experience. They have a lovely drinks selection menu as well to accompany the food. The interiors are lovely and tastefully decorated. We kept using the lovely setup as an excuse for photos. There is ample parking but it could be really tight to navigate especially with bigger cars.
