Great place for dim sum, dinner is average but there aren't many choices for Chinese in the area. Dinner including service came to £63 including tea for 2, 1 beer and service. Portions were average except for the chilli salt squid starter not only was it small but also came in tiniest pieces not rings and all I could taste was the batter, there was hardly any squid, at £7.80 it was a rip off. The mains fair better, morning glory was tasty and so was the mapo tofu but they added Sichuan peppers it was not Cantonese style. Service was good and friendly.

Absolutely delicious place. The dim sum here was amazing and you can tell it was all cooked fresh. The custard buns were some of the best I've ever had. Would highly recommend.

Dim sum! Didn’t have room in my belly to try other items - need to come back again! Tea was good, assorted veg dumplings were lovely, pan fried dumplings were good, too. Cho fun was awesome - maybe skip the crispy next time - tasted great but the calories… :P

What a lovely visit :)Food was delicious and very reasonably priced…most importantly however, the staff were incredible! Best service I’ve had in a long time.My personal thanks to Ming & CK; both are an asset to the restaurant for their service and friendliness.

Good food and great service.We were served by Ming, who understood our requests and customised the dishes.We had Sesame Prawn Toast, Chilli Pepper Fish and golden prawn fry for starters, followed by veg chowmein, chicken chowmein, pak choi, Kung pao chicken and Shanghai spicy fish for Mains.Each and every dish was authentic and really flavourful.We thoroughly enjoyed and definitely coming back for sure.

Booked table on the Thursday lunchtime via phone, for a 7:45pm table which was for my brother's birthday.The restaurant was clearly visible on approach, on a dark, rainy and blustery winter's evening. Warm lights and distinctive building shape and silhouette. Ample parking on arrival.It was a good day to have a meal actually, with lots of tables available fewer patrons than on a Friday, say, and the waiting time for food was very short. We ordered all dishes to come together as and when ready.We were happy with that, but bear in mind we deliberately didn't mind mains and starters not arriving in 'typical' order. The boys were hungry! 😅Don't normally order dessert but did so today with the coconut ice cream and their other white ice cream in a glass dessert.Meal ordered on this visit included:Deep fried stuffed squid with spicy salt starterDeep fried fillet of fish with spicy salt main (I normally like squid, but I personally liked the fish version better, although both were good)Deep fried Softshell crab with spicy salt starterEgg Fried riceGinger fried rice (this was a star unique dish!)Diced Beef fillet in honey & black pepper sauce (I believe this dish had coriander, which I love but didn't expect in a Chinese restaurant - I made the dish!)A bottle of proseccoAt the start we had asked whether individual items from their Xmas set menu could be ordered, but alas this was not possible.Regardless the two of us thought this was the right restaurant and the right dishes on the evening.Great stuff.This is not the first time we've been to this restaurant, although it was under the current management. Great selection of meals to choose from. Some of them are a bit pricey. However, you can enjoy variety of tasty cantonese food.

Great food, that's for sure! Both starters and the mains were very tasty, we were party of 4 and all of us enjoyed each dish. Green tea pot was delicious and wine was also a great choice. The reason I gave 4 stars is the waitressing team on the night. We were waiting to be seated by the entrance sign but after 5mins of not being greeted by anyone, we decided to enter further. They seemed to be extremely busy and we had to ask for someone's attention and ask to be seated. Once the food orders arrived, they were just placed on our table without explaining which meal is which, and since one of us ordered vegetarian option for religious reasons, it was important to ensure we know which one it is. We asked the waiter to advise but he wasn't sure so he asked another two members of staff. Which is obviously good he asked for assistance, but I think if the meals were "introduced" to us as they were being brought to our table, that would be easier. Overall, very good experience food wise so recommend for a night out!Parking outside makes it commute friendly.

Very bland food. We ordered the udon noodles, chicken skewers and tempura prawns and all were very flavourless. Would never go here again. Chicken skewer looked pink inside. The prawns coating (tempura) had a very weird taste. I’m not quite sure how everyone else has left good reviews. Maybe we went on a bad day. Felt rough after the food, we also left most of it as it was nasty.

Delicious food, friendly environment. We had a great experience. Highly recommend My favourite ones were :Rice paper veg roll , Chicken lemon sauce, Chicken chow mein and noodle beansprout
