Olivios in Hertsmere

We arrived 15 minutes after our booked time. The manager said "No problem."The service was fast and friendly. The food was what you want - tasty, hot and freshly cooked - important for spaghetti. The desserts were delicious -The creme caramel was the best ever.We lived this restaurant and will come here again.

Super little place, great prices great food and brilliant staff!

Terrible experience. Tiny overpriced portions and when I complained about the garlic bread his excuse was that they were from costco . As if that makes it any better. Disappointed and will not be returning.

Good menu, good service and, particularly with BYOB, very good value. Over the weekend it gets very busy so well worth booking a table.

We came to Olivios at the weekend for my sons birthday. We had a large table (18) and no one could fault the service or food ! The staff were so friendly and bent over backwards to make sure we were all having a great experience! The food was yummy not one moan and definitely no left overs. A huge thank you to you all at Olivios and we can’t wait to celebrate here again

Our party of 5 all ate dishes that were not pizza or pasta and the food was excellent.Excellent value for money. This was our first visit but definitely not the last, highly recommend.

Very tasty and fresh pizza, however it was short-lived. It was a lot smaller than expected, so isn’t great value for money. The cannelloni was greasy and lacked flavour and part of the order was incomplete.

Had the veal which was served with completely burnt onions as shown in the picture. The quality of the food here is appalling which is a shame given the premium price given the Bushy area.We were a party of 5 and all of us were given tap water which tasted like detergent. We brought this up with one of the waiters/managers called Ajaz (pronounced Aye-ez). He aggressively told us it came out of the tap like that and that he ‘drinks it all the time’. The service from this individual was argumentative and our whole table felt undermined. As we were discussing the complaint he was almost disinterested saying ‘I am very busy and need to go back to the kitchen’. Seriously....not the way to treat a customer while handling a complaint. It’s funny that there was a waitress who was really nice and she actually confided in us that she was handing in her notice soon because she was unhappy with the work environment. I wish her well. If that’s the way they treat customers, heaven forbid what it’s like for their staff.For reference, my visit was Winter 2019. Why has it taken so long to write a review? well, I’m clearing out old photos and notes from my phone and almost forgot about this incident but luckily kept these details. To be honest this photo isn’t worth the storage it’s taking up, so here it is! Please think twice before visiting this restaurant.Hopefully they have made improvements since.
