Papa John's Pizza in Hertsmere

Ordered pizza here on Sunday and by 11/12 that night I proceeded to throw up until 5 o clock the next morning. Never ever in all the times I've ordered have I ever been this ill. I will not be ordering from here again as even 4 days on I still do not feel 100%!!!Avoid if possible....

Bad customer service, waited for almost an hour and a half

Amazing pizza.. Had gone to visit my family in Borehamwood from Swindon and my kid's just thought of having a pizza at papa John's.. I will say that a great order takers with very friendly voice.. great service.. very hot pizza with lovely toppings.. My kid's really liked the pizza.. Thanks to the staff and managers! Good staff with Better ingredients makes a better quality pizza!

AVOID! - We ordered a pizza. It kept both of us up all night with upset stomach's, the sweats & acid reflux. We ate at 6pm but despite this, the pizza was repeating on me all night before going to bed at midnight. By 2am I felt I was going to be sick & was up every two hours in the bathroom. This was a horrible experience & we will never be going back again. I don't bother looking at reviews, but after posting this the very low rating here suggests that there's ongoing problems with this place affecting many customers before we ordered here.All I can say is AVOID as the ingredients are rancid & can give you food poisoning.

Very good place to get your pizza deals need to to get the time sorted out as I came here about out 10 ish and it said it was closed at 11 when on Google it says they close about 12 in the morning so something needs to be done about that but apart from that they got great deals and they got great pizza coming on and then started to Great and then that's a lovely would be coming back again soon when I crave my pizza

I ordered for the first time ever from Papa John's. To be fair im not mad about PizzaBut i usually order from domino's although i believe pizza is simply cheese on toast over price. Any way i called and ordered pizza with extra tuna toppings. So whe it arrived it literally had seven or eight little drops of tunaAnd it tastes of butter and covered and lots of cheese very disappointed to be hones and extremely over priced cheese on toast.

Whilst at a friend of mummy's, butternut squash base pizza with vegetarian Greek topping was delivered. The thin base felt like a flat blob of dense dough, taste to match. A taste of old oil permeated the dough and topping.Far from fresh tasting, this disgusting pizza tasted seemed as though it had been left around for hours and re-heated but not enough, as it was almost cold. The almost congealed Greek topping tasted dead.We (two human and a teddy bear) were very disappointed. Perhaps expecting Kalamata olives was a bit unrealistic, but the few cheap olive pieces that attempted to perk up the pathetic pizza, were battling to disappoint with the barely there feta cheese. I have had reasonably good pizza from PJ but that was in Hoxton. Borehamwood PJ is letting PJ down.

I wouldn't recommend Papa Johns in Borehamwood to anyone I know, for quite a few reasons.If anyone has any has any allergies like nuts etc then be cautious, there's no rules for employees to eat certain things at work. I used to work there and I would always see stuff members popping to the shops and buying food and drinks, They would eat and drink near the preparation area or at the front desk ( I won't be a hypocrite as I used to do it as well but we were allowed by the manger.) I'm not 100% sure if they still do it now but I would assume so.The second reason I wouldn't eat from there is the owner is very aggressive! I was driving down the village, and in front of me on the opposite side of the road was a delivery driver on a motorbike. All of a sudden he cut across the footpath into my lane and made me slam onto the breaks. I confronted him about his dangerous driving and told him I wanted to speak to his manager. It turned out he was the manager and then started shouting abuse at me, even though he was the one to blame.The positive thing I can say about Paper Johns as a company is that they used fresh dough for every pizza, and it does make a difference in the texture and flavour.

We had an extraordinary in this place. We liked the fantastic atmosphere and the menu. The waiters are very welcoming. I’m content we finally managed to visit this restaurant.
