Red Lion Bushey in Hertsmere

Beautiful pub! Has a great outside space to soak up the sunshine! Food is amazing and they have a fantastic quiz night on a Sunday!!

Food was good, staff friendly, had to wait get a staff members attention as they were busy, it would be nice of they just acknowledged you as you don't mind waiting when you know they've seen you.

Always a great experience. There's a staff member there, her name escaps me (long black hair) she's really considerate, really knows her stuff and is very helpful. The food is aways delicious too.

Long wait for the food to arrive. The steak was overcooked ask for it to be well done but cooked to toughness which made it un-chewable is why only four stars. If I was to give a star rating on the other meals I had there before the lockdown it would have been five stars.

Had a lovley time at the Red Lion on Sunday with my mum, the service was excellent and staff were very welcoming even though we had to wait a little while we had a great time, food was yummy and it was the perfect way to spend mothers day.Thank you so much we will be back again very soon! :)

What a shocker. Booked a table for Mothers day. Arrived in time and was seated, about 20 mins later asked if we wanted to order to which I told them we had pre-ordered as I was told it would be busy. After checking came back and said we cannot do one of the starters and there is no pork roast left. We were then told there will be an hours wait, pathetic. The pub had over booked on tables trying to cash in on mothers day, what an embarrassment. Instead of of being a nice relaxing afternoon for my wife turned into a pile if sh1te because the pub couldn't cope. Well done red lion, safe to say I will not be back. 1 star because it is impossible to give zero

Just had a lovely lunch at The Red Lion. This was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed 😊The welcome service and food were 10/10 we live nearby so this is now our go to pub for eating out…😁

Food was ok but could have been warmer, portions are small but this isn't reflected in the price. Bar was chilly but it was quite windy. Good selection of beers, and the staff were very good.

Three of us were here earlier today. Had 2 x Triple Roast and 1 x Mushroom Wellington.Can not recommend the food highly enough, was superb.Empty plated all round, also the Hobgoblin ale is great too.

Not bad. Decent starters, good steak and lasagne. The veg chicken burger was very hard and dry unfortunately. Good beer and service via app worked well. Dog-friendly so that's a huge bonus for us.
