Saffron Authentic Indian Cuisine in Hertsmere

Haven't had one for a while as thought it had gone down hill. But reordered our faves a few days ago, and once again tonight. Absolutely delicious yum, onion barjis were fresh infact it all tasted fresh and scrumptious. Please keep it up, 😍

Had takeaway recently and ended up throwing it away. Just the worst indian food I have ever tasted in any country at any time. One star is generous. I wil never ever ever return here in my life. A disgrace.

Absolutely amazing food. Definitely 5star rating the chef continues to provide top quality food and Mr Bari on the front desk always aims to please. We order regularly and will continue to do so. Honestly if you love Indian order from here!

Food was nice, had good taste and texture. Quite heavy on the onion, but I like onions so that worked out well for me.Took a while to prepare but overall happy to have eaten here.I’d certainly grab a bite from here if I’m in the area again and peckish.Wouldn’t mind trying out a few other dishes they have on the menu.

Poor poor service! I get its Saturday, and as everyone is on lockdown they are busier than usual. I placed my order at 19:35, it is now 22:20 and I am still waiting to eat my meal.... Initially told 45 mins to an hour for collection... turned up just after the hour to be told "you're well early mate" I waited another half an hour before I had to push for my food to come out. I asked the member of staff to check it's all there.... after getting home, turns out it wasn't. Several phone calls later. Still not got the rest of my order, my dinner is in the oven keeping warm... not what I expected, all the people I spoke to tell me the food is good, this was my first and now only order from there! Would love to hear from the management!

Such amazing food! Best Indian takeaway for miles around. Staff are wonderful and always happy to help the customer. Do not miss out on this place. Highly recommend the aloo chat, absolutely delicious!

Saturday night take away.General standard really good. The chicken tikka was indeed definitely tikka and cooked very well, and the balti sauce that it was in was lip smacking, I'd like to be able just to eat that!The rice was cooked well.Bombay potatoes were tasty and had a good flavour to them.Delivery took a bit longer then they originally said, but still less than an hour on a Saturday night. And they did text in advance saying it would be a bit late.All in all really nice takeaway and I am definitely going back.

The best Indian Takeaway by far in Borehamwood. Such lovely people and always going above and beyond expectations. Have been coming here for years and would not go elsewhere. Would highly recommend! 10/10 - Exceptional Staff and Exceptional Food!

This is a wonderful take away. Fantastic food, very good flavour, prompt delivery. Accurate order and the delivery chap was very nice and polite too. don't miss out on this place its gold dust.

Absolutely awful. Was told 45-50mins for delivery but was 1hr and half. It was cold, onion bhajis were rock hard, naan bread was fried and chewy. We paid extra for chef special which turned out to be a chicken tikka masala so nothing special especially as was cold. Will not order from there again.
