Seaworld Fish Bar in Hertsmere

Have been going (seaworld fish bar) for many years now, From my experience it has been very much hit and miss regarding the food my family and I have ordered. The chips are soggy and at time's aswell as over cooked, I placed an order February 2022 for a mixed kebab and regular sized chips I was served a large kebab and large chips when I cleary said I wanted regular on both item's, The kebab came with no dressing which I asked for an now tomatoes whatsoever in my salad, My sister collected my order and was charged £21.40 including one chicken pie this is not acceptable as was the quality of the the food overall, This is so disappointing as it once severed good food regularly, I will not be returning until I see proper food being served an not ignoring the customer regarding asking for regular size portions then being charged for large.Dissapointed seaword fish bar.

I come here every Tuesday as its takeaway Tuesday in our house. Halfpounder with cheese and the lamb doner are amazing ! Nice staff too 👍

The food is good but the manager refuses to take card and is very rude about it. He is clearly on the fiddle or doesn't comprehend modern life.

Decent place of Fish and chips. Really enjoyed it

Consistently poor fish, greasy soggy batterd cod, Each time has been a large looking piece, but the fiah inside is usually very thin and not at chunky and flakey, been to this place 3 tries over the last 18 months.Chips are average, although have varied from being quite nice to average.Staff fantastic though, can't fault them.

Lazy and can’t be bothered. Ordered kebab meat and chips, which were both ready. Took 20 minutes to compile Staff appeared deliberately obstructive. Attitude very arsy.Will not return. I doubt they will care

This place is so hit and miss. The cod is not great (batter is anaemic and the cod didn't have much flavour) - The chips are delicious one week and not so good another week - BUT.... The steak and kidney pies are the best I have ever had anywhere. The staff are generally very friendly and the shop is open until late which is a big plus.

Consistently disappointing. Have been here about five times now and every time the cod has been tasteless, and the chips have been unappetising to say the least. I've resorted to buying frozen fish at Coop down the road instead and cooking it at home! On the other hand the staff have always been friendly,and service pretty quick.

If you are after fish, it's worth the wait (but they NEVER have it ready, even on Friday night). But you could argue that you at least get what you want; good quality fish.The chips are also always top notch.The chicken and kofte kebabs are nice.So why the mediocre reviews.......The doner kebabs are ABSOLUTELY hideous; they resemble nothing like 'lamb' in terms of look, smell, nor taste. The way they cut it is in huge, thick chunks, with nothing but fat, rancid/chewy meat and soggy pitta; It's FAR worse than it sounds.......So for fish & chips, it's excellent, if you are prepared to wait.Meat kebabs are decent.Doner ones are simply gastronomically offensive.
