The Oakmere House Harvester in Hertsmere

Had a lovely meal.... Our waiter Nick was very efficient and helpful.... My order came with peas, instead of the green beans (as advertised), he noticed it also was missing the gravy, asked if I wanted it... Then proceeded to have the meal returned with the correct elements. I had the pork belly with mash potatoes... Delicious 😋😋

A really lovely looking pub in a beautiful park. The food (burger and chips) was delicious. However, unfortunately the staff really let this place down and I would urge the owners to consider how this impacts the customer experience and future business. We ordered our drinks and they did not come, so my friend had to go and ask where they were from a member of staff who appeared to be on a coffee break and had little interest in the fact that they hadn't brought us our drinks. The pub was not busy at all, either. The staff we encountered did look rather fed up and were not overly friendly, either.

Big group went on Sunday, pre booked.Not been to a Harvester for few years, first time to this one. Quick service, food was so good especially the burgers. Food was hot, nothing bad to say about food. Staff were great, even though big group no mistakes. Will definitely be going back.

Great environment food and service good at reasonable prices.

I recently visited Oakmere House for a late lunch, the food was nice and well presented and the portions not too big or too small, the wait between first and second course was a little longer than I would expect but not extraordinary, the tables were clean and set out for the next customers, the staff polite and friendly, at the time we arrived it was almost empty but most people where enjoying the warm day out in the gardens outside which there is access for through the bar area. The prices were reasonable for an eating house near London and it is popular with family's, the toilets were clean but tired and we did book before going. We enjoyed our meal and chose from the set menu I have been before and will go again.

good place to stop, convenient parking, good selection of food and family friendly.it's a place to go if you hungry and have a lot of people to keep happy (kids, fussy eaters ) food turns up quick, and the cost is very reasonable, harder to find these days.staff are polite and friendly.it's a good safe bet.it also has a nice garden for the kids to play and run around.plus it's next to a nice park for an after meal walk.

Very friendly staff our waiter Zaki was very professional and was a pleasure to be served by him. A credit to the company.The meal was excellent. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Was a nice atmosphere and we were not rushed in any way.

Well the waiter was lovely, we had to wait a long time from bring seated to veing served either though it wasn't busy. When ordering a few things from the drink menu not in stock quite disappointing, was offered other things to be then to not in stock. Order the food it came quickly but the garlic bread starter warm and toasted outside but as i bit into it was freezing cold as if it was out of the freezer. Replacement was offered didn't really enjoy it. Rest of the food was pretty good and tasty.

This Harvester is fantastic, I have visited many over the years and the staff here are the friendliest, most efficient all round greatest members we have encountered! The food was fantastic and it was so well organised! The best thing is you can walk through the park and enjoy what it has to offer before or after food and you can make it a real afternoon with friends and family! Cannot recommend enough! Thanks a lot :)
